Complaint against MakeMyTrip On 5th December 2011, I visited MakeMyTrip website and made a booking for the Amazing Thailand Ex Mumbai package (Booking Id No.IN1112B05017). An advance payment of Rs. 10,000/- was made by my credit card online. The Outbound Tours Consultant Mr. Divye Nanda (Cell No. +91 9582945169) forwarded me booking form and foreign exchange form towards the trip and told me to make the full payment of Rs. 39000/- online. On trying to do so, the system was not accepting the payment online. On calling Mr. Nanda, he tells me that there are no seats available, since for the holiday package was closed. But the holiday package was still showing online with the availability of seats.
Now that the Company owes me a refund of Rs. 10,000/-, all of a sudden Mr. Divye Nanda I was co-ordinating with has quit the Company and his supervisor Mr. Jay Gurnani has been hospitalised and not been able to take calls. I have been told to wait for 10 days by your Customer service executive Ms. Sangnmitra (09582945170). But now she too refuses to take the call and claims to be in meetings. I have even contacted Mr. Deep Kalra's office and have been given the contact of Ms. Geeta Eral-Head Customer Delight. But there has reply from her end too.
Being frustrated with the fact that they don't seem interest in refunding the money that they owe me. Help Pls!!

Complaint against Make my Trip I had a bad experience with Make my Trip. I booked the ticket wherein i made a payment of Rs.29000 for a trip to Andamaan dated 29th Jan.
The executive told us that incase we have any issues we can always go back to him a week before the trip before the complete payment is done.
Now we want to change the dates to 12th Feb because of personal issues and he's not agreeing to it.
He says the ticket is already booked.
Morever he doesnt pick the call and doesnt reply to the emails.
When i called the toll free number they say that they'll get back to us but i dont receive any calls.
My booking id is IN1201B06003 .
I'm not asking them to cancel I just want them to postpone to 12th Feb as i have some personal stuffs to manage on 29th Jan.
Looking forward for a help from you.

Please let me know why are you not refunding my money back, when I have not utilised any of your services!!!!

Regarding Refund Amount of Air Tickets Hi,
I booked two air tickets on 20th march-2012 and cancelled both the tickets at the same day.
Booking IDs for the tickets are as follows :-
1- MakeMyTrip Booking ID -NF2202917232841
2- MakeMyTrip Booking ID -NF2202917232203
Till today i did not get any refunded amount in my account.
Note:
On you website status for above mentioned booking IDs is showing as " Refund Completed successfully"
Please process my request and refund the amount in my account.

Make my trip I had made a booking through Make My Trip Customer Care (Executive Name: Deepak Kullu) for Hotel Reservation at Park Hyatt, Goa on the name of Jasmine Kaur for the dates 29th April 2012 till 2nd May 2012. As I was getting a better deal on your web site as compared to the others I went ahead with the offer.
The price being offered to me at that time was Rs. 26,141. I made a payment of Rs. 3000/- through my HDFC Credit Card (Last 4 digits – 0489) to block the rate and was told that the balance could be paid the next day. I went through the entire process of generating the OTP no. for Tele Booking and went through the IVR to make the payment, where once again I was told that the total price is Rs. 26,141 of which I am making a payment of Rs. 3000.
After the process was complete I was send a mail from the Executive confirming the Booking Details and the Payments made and balance amount & the MakeMyTrip Booking ID - IN1204B17329
To my Dismay the executive called again and told me that the price has increased and I will have to shell out more than the actual commitment, the revised amount stands at Rs. 30,788. As my wife was initially speaking to him and on hearing this gave him a piece of mind as to once the price was freezed , agreed and committed how could he go back on his words and commitment. On her further probing him and her asking to connect to a senior to resolve this issue, in his defense he said he would do something and give a discount of Rs. 2,288/- and make the price to Rs. 28,500/-
The next day when I came to know about this development I called up the executive again and told him this is not possible as once the price has been committed he cannot go back. His reply was, as we had made only a partial payment of Rs. 3000/- its not enough to hold the rates. And the price was revised by the Hotel.
I had a huge argument with him and on my telling him to put me across his senior to sort out this issue, he told me to pay the original amount of Rs. 26,141 and he would be issuing the voucher. As I had already paid Rs. 3000/- , I paid the balance of Rs. 23,141 to the executive who had come to collect the payment.
After which I spoke to Mr. Deepak again and told him that the payment has been made against which he sent me a mail saying that the booking has been confirmed.
At last I was relaxed and thought all went well….
But, I forgot I was dealing with MAKE MY TRIP…
I called up Park Hyatt to give them the details of my travel itinerary so that they could arrange for the pickup & drop facility but to my horror and disbelief I was told they haven’t got the confirmation. They did not have any booking on my Jasmine Kaur’s name..
And then the nightmare started, I called up Mr. Kullus number he did not answer, I called up customer care they asked my MakeMyTrip Booking ID - IN1204B17329 but I was told that my booking is on hold as I have not paid the entire amount. I explained them my grievance for which they told they’ll arrange a call back from sales as such commitments are made from there. BUT NO CALL SOOOOOO FAAAR
So I thought ill try chasing Mr. Deepak Kullu and for the past 1 hour I have been chasing Mr. DEEPAK KULLU to give me a clarification but he is saying he is busy on some other call.. Guess he’s got another client to fool around.
Now my questions:
ENTIRE AMOUNT?????? WHATS THE ENTIRE AMOUNT.. and who decides that.. the Company whose providing the business/ service… the customer whose paying for it ( THE SO CALLED KING) or the Executive who is there to be a connect between the client and the company…
Who’s fooling me??? The company or the executive
What kind of service is MAKE MY TRIP PROVIDING????
Are we fools that we do not understand the hospitality industry????? Where if you block a room for 24 hours for a price no matter how many bookings are done in that period, the blocked booking is still charged the same amount as committed at the time of holding the room…
Once he has confirmed with us how can he go back on the commitment…
Need an urgent action on this matter as because of this issue I am not going to face the brunt and let me holiday go bad (As its my wife’s b’day on 1st may).
Would expect a reply at the earliest

Valid online ticket but no seats in Bus (Cheating) I have booked online ticket for Bus of Raj Tours From Latur to Pune to travel on 27 April 2012 for 3 pessengers (Seat Nos 11,12 & 8). I have received valid E ticket from Makemy trip Bus ID : NU25122918571038 with PNR no X4VFNP & TKT. no. 30052994.
I reached to the Boarding point on the departure date when I report to the BUS i came to Know that the same seats were already alloted to other passengers, As i enquired about this to the service provider he has informed me that the Online chart is not received to them and thats why he had alloted the same seats to others. I contacted to helpline of Make my Trip there were surprising feedbak from their end that there is the fault for their end and I have to make alternative arrangement my self. At mid night along with my Spouce and baby of just 3 monts we were wandering on the place. BUS service provider also accepted that their is fault from Make my trip's as well as service providers End. But due to this attitude and carelessness of them we along with our baby have to suffer a lot. I was helpless at mid night and returned to my village which is almost 50 Km from Latur. To returned at mid night we had to pay high fair as spiecal vechical. who is responsible for this inconvinience?? I have launched the complaint on the same day to Make My trip, The execuitive informed us that he will forward this case to their Account dept and will come back with in 24 Hrs. almost two days had passed still i'm waiting to listen a single word from Make my trip. I was of opinion that Make my trip is best service provider in this field but now i'm of the thought that they are just cheating the customers.
May i look forward towards you to please investigate the matter and revert with sound solution.

refund complaint against travelchacha.com i booked a flight ticket with travelchacha.com PNR-MZVMYN and as per my changed schedule i cancelled that ticket,,,more than two months are passed out but they did not refund my amount till now,,i used to call there customer executives daily ,,but they always give unsatisfied replies,,pls help

Technical errors on dates at the time of booking Dear,
i'm sanjay from gurgaon. i have booked an Air ticket for 26th May-12.before booking i have confirmed date & passenger details but i got a ticket before one day.i called up to customer care for the issue that i have booked for 26th and received ticket for 25th and logged complaint. their CCE assured me to help & provide me ticket but it is 48 hours passed no body from Makemytrip called me up. i tried to call yesterday & today also. but again they assured to help.
still i'm waiting for my ticket on 26th and rates of flit is rising day by day. who will response for the same....... plz help me...

Complaint on makemytrip.com I bought a Swiss paris delight package from makemytrip 2 months back. No one followed for 2 months and now my departure date has arrived next week with no VISA in my hand. The departure is on 17th May from Mumbai and I have been called on 16th May for the interview in Delhi at Swiss embassy. I came to know of this only 2 days back. This careless attitude from the agency has caused me great mental agony and also loss of money since some of my relatives who are flying on their own have already booked their flight and hotels for the above dates. The company representative are showing total disinterest as if it is a joke for them.
We expect an action to be taken against them unless they resolve this issue

Booking date 02 April 2012.
Two tickets from Hyderabad to London.
I have bought two tickets for my parents to travel from Hyderabad, India to London on 02 April 2012 for 845 GBP ( Rs. 67,294/- )The dates were on 11 April 2012. I didn't receive e-tickets and after 3 days, I had to call MAke my Trip to enquire. Then they said that the bookings were not confirmed with the airlines. I asked for any other alternative. They said that I have to book a new ticket. I requested to make a new booking, and then they said I have to pay for that and they can't adjust the amount I have already paid. I requested my money back and they said that I will get my refund in 7 days. I have waited for nearly 20 days and tried to contact by phone. No option on phone for refunds/cancellations or so. I had to email them. They got back to me after one week again asking for my account details. I have sent them an email back with all my account details. Waited for 10 days. No refund. Again rang them and spoken to an agent on 09 May 2012 who said they have just initiated the refund and I will get the money in 6 or 7 days. On 12 May 2012, I have received an email again asking for account details to refund.
No I'm annoyed and frustated with the situation because I had to borrow money to book tickets from other direct airlines website after 15 days. What should have happened to my parents who are not highly educated if they have gone to the airport assuming that the booking was confirmed.?
I'm still waiting for my refund!!! Dont know when I will get it. Its been 45 days days so far. They have taken my money immediately but I'm waiting since 45 days to get my own money back!!!!!!!

fradulent trade practices and overcharging by make my trip and absence of any customer redressal Fraudulent and unfair trade practice -205b8226in
I had booked a goa holiday package through make my trip.Com and my travel advisor was samanjeet , who charged me
rs/-95060 for a 4night/5day packege from 21-25th may 2012 at leela goa, assuring me that this was the best deal she could get .I paid by cheque(no-499809-pnb dated 12/5/2012) which was duly encashed
I trusted her and sent the money by cheque ,however to my utter dismay when I DID a online personel check I found that the same package for the samedays,dates and rooms was being offered by make my trip at rs/-87420 .When I brought this to the notice of samanjeet by telling her on phone and sending her a mail attachment regarding the difference of around rs/-8000, I was told that this genuine complaint regarding overcharging will be satisfactorily looked into and I was made to talk to their senior a mr aman who assured me that it would be resolved soon and that the matter would be referred to their product team and that a mr ranjeet will get back to me with satisaactory explanation
now it is 3 weeks since and inspite of repeated attempts to contact samanjeet and mr aman ,my genuine complaint has been unattended.
I had even tried to call the consumer complaint helpline of make my trip and the lady on phone after hearing my complaint asked me to talk to her senior ,but I was kept waiting for 30 mins and no one had the courtesy to talk to me and phone got disconnected.
From all this ,it is very clear that-
1) make my trip does not value its customers ( I am a make my trip award member)
2) it indulges in fraudulent and unfair trade practices
3) there is no customer redressal system in place
4) I ,as a customer have been subjected to overcharging and harassment .
I want this matter to be looked into and satisfactorily resolved

Our group of 16 had a horrible experience with Make My Trip when we went on their Kashmir package from 19th to 25th May 2012. Some of the points on which Make My Trip terribly goofed up are :-
1) Despite booking at the beginning of February we were not provided details of the hotel till 3 days before travel
2)14 of us were booked on JetKonnect and 2 on Indigo. But at the last minute without prior intimation the 2 were issued Kingfisher tickets with long halts in Delhi. The Kingfisher flight from Srinagar was at 4 pm while JetKonnect was at 2 pm yet all were transported together from the hotel at 11am. The Kingfisher passengers were not allowed into the airport and had to wait out for 2 hours. Leaving the hotel at 11 am these two passengers reached Mumbai close to midnight.
3)Was told we would be staying in California houseboats in Srinagar but was put up in a lousy Shikhara
4) Despite confirming that 2 vehicles will be reserved for our group , the tour managers tried to squeeze 2 more passengers in our vehicles which we resisted . After , multiple calls to various people in MMT it got resolved after 90 minutes with all members loosing temper & wasting precious time . Still, the tour guys insisted that some baggage's to be loaded on our vehicles , which caused delay and missing the second phase of Gondola ride in Gulmarg.
5)Four of the 6 rooms booked was meant for 3 adults yet the room offered at Paradise Inn, Pahalgam was so small that an extra bed would not fit in.
6) The food arrangements were extremely poor at all locations . I can't comprehend with this crazy idea of MMT of hiring "Maharaj" from Rajasthan to serve us same food, day in day out at all locations . The food without exception at all locations was unhealthy , oily and inedible. At Shikara , in fact the food was uncooked . The standard menu was Roti, Dal, Paneer , Chicken , Papad . The Papads were kept in a corrugated box and no hygeine was maintained in the serving area. We were also forced to buy Mineral water at more than MRP at the Dal lake . WHEN WE BOOKED WE WERE NOT INFORMED THAT WE WILL NOT BE SERVED FOOD FROM THE HOTEL , AS TOURISTS WE EXPECTED TO BE SERVED LOCAL CUISINE AT LEAST ONCE. Because of the poor food quality we were forced to eat outside at least on three occasions We tried Paradise restaurant in Pahalgam town for the local cuisine( owned by the same group where we were staying ) and were discussing with the owner of the sub-standard food arrangement at the hotel. He promptly put a disclaimer at the hotel saying that food served is from MMT and not by the hotel.
It is clearly found that Make My Trip is not equipped to handle such holidays and people should refrain from using their services.

domestic air ticket problem i have booked domestic air ticket delhi srinagar my booking id isIN1206B04921 and pnr no is OMZMR booking date is 07/06/2012 journey date is 15/06/2012 for this booking mr sidharth pathak has assisted me,he told me that withen six hours you will receive the eticket but till now i have not received the ticket i have communicated the problem with the every person of the customer care but nothing happened the problem is as it is.
