I am Vicitim of Makemytrip... Whenever you books tickets with Makemytrip... if you cancel your trip...
FORGET YOUR REFUND ... Biggest Looting Agents on Internet in Makemytrip. I have no idea how to get back my money still now.
Here goes my story....
I planned trip to india on Dec 2nd 2011. Due to some incorrect docs from immigraion i have to cancel trip.
So I cancelled my tickets on Dec1st 2011 and
told my cancellation charges will be $1650 (550*3) ( # 1 - Airlines charges only $250) and cancellation # US1108B02041
Asked to send fax with refund form ( #2 : easy to say fax not recd)
When asked for rebooking charges will $200 with their fixed ticket price + $250 on cacellation charges.. Which more than above cancellation charges.(#3 Make money )

I had send the Fax on Dec 2nd Friday 4.30 and sent out mail about the fax on Dec 7 and Dec 9 (Still Receving reply for that mails as of Dec 20 2011)
Contacted makemytrip Dec 9 over chat and told you will get refund in 8 -10 days. That is between Dec 15-17 (What a math 2+10=15)
Again contacted on Dec 17th told , they havent recd fax (#2) and resend my earlier fax with confirmation fax and contact over phone
and told that process started you will get money with (refund in 72 hours #4). So contacted again today Dec 20 2011 mor 11am (EST) and told it will take to get refund another 10-15 days.

I lost hope, I get my refund and finally found this site, Where to complaint and help & share with my fellow desis..

MAKEMYTRIP TOTALLY FORGET THAT PEOPLE CANCEL TICKET WITH TRAVEL AGAIN and Talk about their experience in facebook, orkut, blogs and groups about the kind of worst service provided by makemytrip.com on refunds.. And recommend people to think twice before choose makemytrip.com in thier life time..



Still today , I havent recd any emails about my refund, once on today's call , when talked to Supervsior! (Ritu Sharma)!. She sent out email with another email id (sspatel). Whereas this email id not belongs to me and suspect all my emails are sent to this id ONLY.


I am very much suspected, some sort of mal pratice is initated and going on MAKEMYTRIP.COM. Let everyone here know that .

My tickets was booked by Geeta Arya and was contacted with Pooja over chat couple of times for tickets refund and forget person name who cancelled my tickets. One among here for sure updated my email with wrong one. I have no DOUBT at all in it.

And recently contacted Ritu Sharma, the only person who replied my emails. And non of the earlier replied earlier emails and think they also sent all email to sspatel8@hotmail.com which was CHANGED as primary email id for contact. I am sure, someone who understands your system has update primary emaild with this id and I am sure it is not happened by mistake. I have already sent couple of emails mentioning this on change to correct email id, it has not happened until today... So this concludes it has happened purpose fully.

If I get my refund, by anychance, Let you guys know when I got it... May be next year... year after!!!!!
