    Default Complaint for Non refund of Money by Yatra Online

    Dear Sir,

    I had booked three tickets no. 5173434131, 5173434132, 5713434122 dated 13.05.2011 for sector Delhi/Bangalore/Delhi through Yatra Online. Due to personal reasons I had got these tickets cancelled on or about 20th May 2011 vide their reference no. 6775620 and 6775704. Inspite of my various telephone calls to their customer service section and repeated assurances by them, I have not received the refund amount of Rs.13,545/- and Rs.6772/- till date. Their customer care department always gives assurance that I will get the refund in the next 24-48hrs but it has been more than 3 months and no refund has been made.

    Default harassment for cancelled e-ticket but not refunded by agent

    Hi,

    I am Joydeep Sinha, booked a e-ticked (PNR 6500573885) from a Yatra Online Agent(Holywood) for train no 23142 (Teesta Torsha Exp Dn) on 28th August 2011 and my Journey Date was 9th Oct,2011.
    I bought the e-ticket in Waiting list.In journey day it was still wait listed and thus cancelled.

    On 12 th Oct I got a sms in my mobile(9432374272) to collect Rs.229 from the agent where from i booked the ticket.

    I went to the agent of yatra online and he is denying that the money has not refunded to his account.

    Thus he is not giving me the money.What should I do.

    According to the irctc refund rules
    Fully Wait Listed Tickets:-
    • Full waitlist tickets the tickets in which on one PNR, all the passengers are on waitlist PNRs are dropped from the reservation charts.
    • Such passengers are not required to send online request for cancellation. Tickets will be cancelled automatically and money will be refunded in respective account electronically.
    • On a PNR which has all the passengers on waiting list at the time of charting, the names of such waitlisted passengers will not appear in the charts and such passengers, if found travelling, will be treated as unauthorized and charged accordingly. However, on a PNR which has some passengers confirmed or RAC status and some on waiting List, all the names including those on waiting list will appear in chart.
    • If Chart not prepared any of location such cases IRCTC will forward the claim to Concerned Railways to process the refund and money of refund amount will be credited back to same account through which payment was made after receiving the same from the concerned Railways.

    but the agent is not giving it.
