Dear Sir,

I took the membership of Mountain Club, Bhimtal through Gold
Crown Vacations Pvt Ltd. (Code - GCVC 748) on 20th March 2009 from the
branch office in EDM Mall, Kaushambi, Ghaziabad (U.P).

Initially, I paid Rs 31,250/- as membership fee to Mr Arun Gupta and rest
amount had to be paid in monthly installments. I was told that at any point
of time, if I want, I can discontinue my membership and I'll get the
complete refund of membership fee (If its is canceled within a week).



Within a week when I confirmed about the properties, I requested to cancel
the membership (on 25/03/09 through e-mail & Phone call) and met to the
director of Gold crown vacations on 02/04/09 regarding the cancelation. He
insist me to visit the property first or I have to pay Rs 15000/- as
administrative fee (But it was no where mentioned throughout our
conversation). He settled the down payment to Rs 18750/- and at the same
time I received an agreement on 06/04/09 to be signed before going to the
property. Since, before continuing this membership, I wanted to see the
property, I signed the agreement.



I had a trip to the apartment Alpine Club, Nanital on 10/04/09. It was
completely different experience as compared to the promises made by Gold
crown Vacations Pvt Ltd (five star facilities). The apartment was of third
class and its standard was even lower than any normal guest house. Its
location was horrible, there was not proper service, no parking space and
the apartment was completely isolated from the market. I did not liked the
property & the service provided by them.



After coming out from there, I again went to goldcrown vacations,
lajpatnagar on 29/04/09 and gave request to cancel the membership. It was
received by Ms Monika in front of Mr. Iqbal. In between 10/04/09 to
29/04/09, I sent two e-mails (on 13 & 16 April) & more than 25 phone calls
to the get the cancellation process & arrange a meeting with Mr. Iqbal (The
director of Gold Crown Vacations Pvt Ltd.).



The cancellation request was received & it was decided to settle the matter
& refund of payment till 26/05/09. After that I took continuous follow up to
check the status of application & had a visit to Lajpat Nagar office also
but, I did not receive any confirmed & trustful response from the office. No
one seems to be interested in the matter. Whenever I called them up, I never
received a call back from them, though it was always said to call me back.



After more than two months, I received a cheque of Rs- 3750/- and it bounced
and not cleared till date. They deducted Rs 15000/- as administrator fee and
without any service .



I request you to please help me out so that I can get My Rs 15000/- from
the company.

I am Tarun Yadav resident at 143 Vivekanand Puri Sarai Rohilla. I would like to
launch complaint of Gold Crown Vacation (P) Limited.

On Aug-01-08 we were got a phone call saying that we have been shortlisted and we
have to come to there Karol Bagh office to collect the free gift and trail voucher
which contain free stay at any RCI affilicated resort for two days and night.

There We met with Mr. Nilesh and he gave one more offer which says " If we invest
10000/- more we can stay at any RCI resort more for 4 days and 3three nights". When
I said that It is not good to pay the amount at once as it might happen that we
didin't go for vacation this year. So he said we can book it by paying some Initial
amount. So we diposited Rs 3000/- and they gave me recipt with Account number
GCV-260.

Unfortunately, due to busyschedule we didn't go for any vacation. On Nov-18th-09 we
again got a call from the company saying similar words that we are shortlisted and
we have to come and collect the gift coupons.
We went to the Karol Bagh ofice with all the documents and recipt to avail the
amount we deposited. as we have planned to visit Mata vaishnav Devi, Shrinagar and
Gulmarg. There we met with Miss Prerna, who took us to met with her manager.


The manager(Forget the name) said that they do not offer and booking at the said
cities. So, I requested him to return back the money I diposited . He asked us to go
to there Lajpat Nagar Officeand give us the contact number (29836130-31).

When I called at the given number Miss Deepika from customer care pick up the call ,
I request her to either book the room at any of the place or return back the money
diposited which she refused for the both saying that Once money is diposited will
not be returned back and they do not entertain the said places.

I request you to please launch the complaint against the said company and help me to
get the money I deposited to them.

On June 20th -09 My wife went to Big Bazaar They called my wife cell & said that you won a gift voucher of Rs. 15,000/- from Big Bazaar Lucky draw. They said they are calling from Big Bazaar and you can collect your Gift from the above address. They said that you have to come with your Husband & child. We went there at the reception they given a forum to fill. after 5 min. they took us to a room. The room was like a restaurant with about ten glass round tables and chairs with it & music with a loud voice.

Where the sales executive named Prerna started to describing about becoming a member of RCI and blah blah about 5000 locations where you can holiday with your family and become a member for 30 yrs. You can Buy your Property, Rent your Property etc. They were convincing us to invest our money on there Property by just showing some photographs. They were just brain washing us. There were a lot of family who came there like us and the sales executives were just trying there best to make a “BAKRA”. At last after 2Hrs we just said no to them we just exhausted by there talking/convencing. At last they given us a gift packet and a envelop and said this is your ticket for 2 Nights & 3 Days Holiday. We just said thank you and run away from there.

On the way my wife opened the gift packet & we found 6 small glass bowls of very low cost & 2 are broken and the Holyday Voucher there are so many terms & conditions that no one can think about going there.

We know that we are cheated but escaped from a victim of big Fraud. We thank God for that. The Gold Crown Vacations P. Ltd are one of the big emerging Fraud

Gold crown vacation is a very fraud company and i wish that no one should enter with any type of agreements with them

They called me somewhere in October 2005 by saying that i won some gift and i need to go there to collect the same. Later there they created a scenario where i felt bounded to purchase a trial package.
They charged me Rs. 11000/- for the same and confirmed that now i can avail 4N5D holidays at their resorts.
Since i bought this under some pressure, i was not interested to avail the offer so I thought ok let my money wasted.

Now, today on 7th July 2010, I got a call from Gold Crown & they are claiming that I have not paid the total amount of the package I bought. According to the lady called me, Rs. 11000/- was the first installment or rather a booking amount and rest of the payment (which is around Rs 85000/-) still to be paid.

I want to file a complaint against these guys. Please suggest.

Before going to consumer forum you need to send a legal notice via registered post to the gold crown vacations, mention all the details in it , attach all the photo copy of relevant document.

Note: Keep all the copy of Complaint, Notice and the registered post slip, this may help you if you need to knock the consumer forum.

it is the fraud company, be aware of this

Along with these other complaints, we smelled a "rat." Everything sounded good at first, but then the marketer said "save us the time, either say yes or no right up front please.", and When GOLD CROWN comes up with the money-off deals before we even told them we needed it, it's a problem. They were just looking to get ANY amount from us ( something is better than nothing in this economy) even after we told them we had terrible credit due to a possible forclosure! He didn't care, and kept trying to "help" us get a lower price. They baited people right after the presentation was over saying the first 2 people to sign up would get the $399.99 membership off for the first year. Two people jumped at it and signed in--no kidding-- 3 minutes. (or was the first one-- fake--to bait others into doing it faster===Hurry hurry, only one left!) We listened to the pitch, then to the person assigned to work with us, but when he was the first one to start reducing to half what others paid, even before we asked, we wondered what was going on?>so the others paid full but for us we pay half? We left, without anything, but were glad when we looked it up and saw it was fraudulent. Thanks everyone for speaking out.
