    and strongly believe that we need to take some tough stand against them , as their dirty job of giving lolly pops to the innocent customers is still running smoothly in Noida office ,
    Pretending to be MBAs and good in making bhaiya and bhabies , these idiots should be through en behind bars

    my name is praveen and in april 2009 i got a phone call saying that i had won a free holiday courtesy cambay holidays.We were invited to a demonstration at sub mall noida where Deep sharma and one of his female associates explained to us the various schemes and facilities offered.we decided to take the 5 year plan and we deposited rs 20000 by debit card.we were told that the remaining amoint will be collected by emi and that someone would come to our residence in a couple of days to collect the first emi.That was the last we heard from them.
    Since then we have tried to contact them but 90% of the time either their phone comes as busy or nobody picks up.on a couple of occasions when we managed to get through and we asked for our free hoiday we did not get a satisfactory response.
    these people should be beaten up and jailed.

    Thumbs down Credit card being swiped without my knowledge.

    Hello Guys,

    Please be vigilant.
    My card is being debited again and again by cambay people, without any notice to me.
    Everytime the transaction gets declined, thanks to ICIC bank. But i m never aware of why this transaction is being done.
    They refuse to go by there pre-membership details given to me.
    Now i have to get my credit card blocked because of these transaction done by Cambay.

    So please check your cards, incase the same has been done to you.

    I have been reading all the comments and responses regarding this Cambay Holidays.
    I want to know one simple thing. Has anyone out of those many people have got any benifit of the complaint they have posted here. Has any action been taken and their complaints have been taken care of.

    Has anyone got their amount refunded or has anyone got their holidays booked as desired ?

    Default Cambay Consumer Court Case being launched

    Hi,

    I am Chandan Sharma from Gurgaon. I wont get into too much of details about what Cambay did to me, all that I have to say is that I have suffered like you all. Rather I have also been victim of their somewhat unethical practices and abuses during calls.

    I have been fortunate enough to record some of the conversation that I had with Cambay team through my mobile phone in which they clearly say to me some of the things that are different than their Terms and Conditions document.

    On the basis of this, I have got into discussions with few renowned people in Gurgaon and launching a complaint against them in Consumer Court. I have been adviced that if I get more application from others then the case against them would be stronger. So incase you are REALLY annoyed with what happened to you then please send me the scanned copies of your complaints in my email ID that is "chandan9sharma [AT] yahoo dot com"

    Most probably you guys might have to visit once on the final day if not then I would try to find out the ways to make things easier for you all. But do send me your complaint application.

    I would also request the moderator of this forum to guide me if I would use this forum or the compaints here for legal help. The moderator might also be having the communication details of people who have posted complaints here. If he could mail them about complaint application it would be great.

    Finally, please note that MY COMPLAINT is NOT DEPENDENT ON YOUR APPLICATION. So if you send the application its for your own good.

    The last date of sending the application is 25th November 2009.

    I am also facing the same problem in Noida office of Cambay. When they called me and offered me the policy at that time they explained that product and Blue Studio product and told that the duration of holidays is 2 weeks per year for next 25 years. But when i called call center they told me that it's only 1 week per year. Next thing was they haven't told me about i will not able to avail any holiday until i pay full payement of 1 lakh but they misguided me that i can pay some amount now and then later amount can be paid as per my convinience. But as per call center until i pay full amount I can't avail any single holiday. I asked to withdraw my money but there is no such option. I am still fighting for my 25K.
    I have taken these compalints print out with me as a proof.

    Hello Friends,
    I am also amongst one of the victim of Cambay Holidays. I was also been given the similar offer like you people.

    a) I was offered by Himanshu and Varun that if I purchase an offer of 7 days holidays by paying 12,878 rupees through credit card will get back 9878.00 rupees within 30 to 45 days.

    b) Unfortunately despite getting this amount I again had been charged 2567.00 rupees on my credit card on 15-Sep-09 without any standing instructions. That card I blocked immediately.
    When I approached himanshu regarding my above concerns he asked me a blank cancelled cheque to refund all my amount of 12,445 rupees by Cambay.

    After Himanshu’s resignation when I met Deep I was informed about being cheated by Himanshu. I blocked that cheque immediately.

    This Company is totally a fraud company. Government should take actions against it.

    HI All,

    i have the same stories like all of you have.
    I also been cheated by cambay and they all are not responding on calls.
    yesterday they have didacted one more installments from my credit card.
    I dont know how the credit card company allowing them to made the payments.

    Can anyone come up shows us the way to get our money back.

    Hi,
    I'm Saumya Goswami, resident of Navi Mumbai, a member of Cambay holidays. My case is similar like Mr. Dhawan. I was forced to take the membership showing me some lucrative offers.I took the membership on 10/03/09 and applied for 36 EMIS, but when I got the membership details and welcome call, I came to know that by mistake I was put in 48 EMI scheme. Immediately I rectified in the welcome call as well as went to the Vashi office from where I got the membership. They confirmed me it is a small mistake and will be rectified as soon as possible. Then, 6 months went past no body bothered to do anything to rectify and I had to give 3 months EMI in wrong scheme. During that period I went to Vashi office several times and as well I tried to communicate through emails as well. But no body bothered to do anything. Then I stopped paying the EMIs and now those people start crying.

    The other thing is that when I took the membership, I was convinced by Mr. Sanjeet Moulik,the local manager and others in the Vashi office that I will get my welcome week in Goa during Christmas and on the basis of that only I went for this membership. I continuously asked Mr. Moulik to book my week during that period from very beginning. Now Mr Moulik has been transferred from the Vashi office and the new manager straight way on my face said that Mr Moulik has not done any booking for me and in fact in my type of membership it is not possible to get holidays in peak season. Now this was shocking to me. Immediately I let that guy know that if this is not fulfilled I will quit and I communicated my views through email. But the manager, Mr. Sayed, didn't have the minimum ethics to come back to me.

    Now this situation went on for couple of months again and now I get a reminder letter from Cambay (Ref:NLL/CFH/617 dated 27/11/2009) for my due installments.

    Now when I threaten them to tell the media and write in a blog. one lady Miss. Sushmita called me and straight way refused that she or no one else in their management is aware of my problem and neither they received any email communication from me. But strangely this time also I sent the email to the same recipent group but this time they received and replied within 1 day.

    I clearly blasted her on phone and mentioned I want to quit and want my hard earned money back with compensasion. Now they say it's not possible, you can't quit. Then I asked about all the offers they provided me during membership and now she completely refuses and all those offers are shit.
    I'm frustrated and want get my money back at any cost. I specially want to let everybody know PLEASE DON'T GO TO CAMBAY HOLIDAYS, THEY ARE FRAUD. If you still don't believe I have all my proofs and I can post.

    Is there any one else in Mumbai, who has been cheated by this fraud. PLease come up and say.

    Anyone having any idea how to teach these guys a lesson, please help me.

    Dear Administrator,

    I request you to remove my post "Cambay Holidays is a fraud company", as all the misunderstanding has been cleared. I have got a confirmation voucher for a holiday in GOA with 40% discount on the services in the Resort.
    The company is not fraud, the misunderstanding created was due the misrepresentation by some marketing people.

    My case is similar like Mr. Dhawan. I was forced to take the membership showing me some offers. I was forced to pay some initial amount on 02/01/2010, to their office at Nilman Life style. They even didnot give me the receipt for the amount I paid and not consider me as a member. After a couple of days when i try to call their Mob. (Mr. Amir and Ms. Doum), all the time it is switched off. This days their office at Nilman life style, mu@@@@@ Mumbai is also closed. It is really difficult to get my many back or even contact them.

    Cambay is definitely a fraud company and there can be no doubt in it. So many people are facing the same problem. The Cambay people are telling lies, and making false promises so openly.
    Cambay should be closed and there business should not go ahead.

    Dear Ashish Dhawan, it was shocking to see you changing sides. While one should have praised you for taking the initiative to write about Cambay on the internet. This has brought all of us together and work out together to bring these frauds to book. This has saved so many prospective buyers from being duped. This has encouraged so many people to gain strength and fight with the company for their hard earned money. You also visited the Police station with us when we complained about Cambay. Why suddenly change sides when after so many months of waiting Cambay has offered you a paltry compensation? You know how difficult it has been to get to Cambay. You should be fighting for justice and not for a 40% discount.

    Cambay is a fraud company full of fraud people. They encourage fraud people in the company. Suhsmita, Zarna, Shibu George, Varun Kalra etc. etc. This company is full of cheats.

    we had paid sum of Rs.15768 (Application Sl No:002669 ) towards one year trial membership on 24/07/09 in which we were also promised membership of Stellar Gymkhana, Greater Noida.Ms Dibya Rana Sales Manager and Bhawna at Cambay Noida office in Sab Mall who sold us this membership. We got the welcome kit aftermore than 2 months during which we had to remind and call the staff several times.

    We came to know after 4 months that Cambay has no such tie up with Stellar Gymkhana, we feel cheated and duped. We have a written mail saying they are working on the membership.We want to get the refund the above amount paid by us. In this regard we visited Sab mall Noida on 15/11/09 and handed over the refund / cancellation request to Mr.Inder Arora, venue incharge.We send several mails to Sushmita as well.

    On 26/11 we spoke to Siddharth in their Gurgaon office who directed us to Shibu George after finding no solution to our complaint after 2 weeks. We spoke to Shibu George on 10th Dec and 16th Dec and he seemed to be in Gandhinagar all the time. We have been in constant touch with Mr.Inder Arora on 15/11/09 26/11/09 10/12/09 & on 16/12/09 we presented a written letter for refund. He verbally agreed that we have been duped. Finally on 21st Jan we met Ms Priti Pant (customer care incharge)

    After much discussion and wait she sent a written mail on 13th Feb stating that they have agreed for refund which will be given in a week. However on 24th she gave a missed call and on contact stated that the Cambay staff had misplaced our correspondence for refund and wanted us to resend the same. We believe this is a time delay tactic to mislead.

    Apart from having our hard earned money blocked, our interaction with Cambay has caused us a lot of frustration and wasted a lot of our time as we have been chasing different shades of personalities at Cambay Holidays !



    In case other harried customers have complaints against Cambay, please contact us within a week.
