    Unhappy Complaint Against Make My Trip

    Hi,
    I made an online booking for a hotel in manali on make my trip. I made the payment through my credit card which was instantly debited. I was issued my hotel confirmation voucher vide booking ID NH251831326327 which said that my booking was confirmed and do not need to contact the hotel or make my trip to confirm. Now I got a call from their back office stating that the hotel is not available after four days. Now all other hotels have become expensive and are not satisfactory or not available on other websites. Please help me.

    Make my trip is only making people to fool.Pl remain away from this fraud company. This company aim is to only make copmission rather than satisfy the customers.

    In my case they also cheat me. I have booked hotel thaugh them. My ID is NH252211312593. for booking hotel in Shimla from 10/06/11 to 12/06/11 (ie 02 days) they have charged 8293/- too much money.
    In their confirmation mail they have committed as executive roo in a executive single star hote.

    But in actually the hotel is very IIIrd class hotel in very poor location.We have talked hotel manager then he said that " why you have booked thraugh My Trip. you should make booking directly. They only make high comission."

    I conjecture to saw that hotel manager is giving those rooms in only 1000/- which we are booked.

    Hi i kapil gupta, i have to paunch complaint against to makemytrip

    i booked Air ticket by makemytrip service on call (delhi to mumbai), journey date was 1st of Nov 2011 but my plan had changed so i cancel the ticket with makemytrip agent Sourav, booking date was 30th Oct 2011 and second day i canceled the ticket. i have many times called to makemytrip customer care center.
    but i am not getting any proper response. they are saying every time your refund processing are going on. i have a email from refund amount how much i will get after all cancellation charges and makemytrip service charges. i am attaching this detail below.

    I did BUS booking {Bangalore - Goa} on make my trip website - NU21711916387445 by using internet banking<SBI> where 1836 Rs deducted. then i was rerouted to make my trip website with message -

    Unfortunately , Your transaction could not be processed because of a temporary connectivity problem. We request you to please try making the payment again

    I went to my SBI bank account where i can see 1836 Rs deducted with remark -
    NU21711916387445 IGxxxxxxxxx TRANSFER TO xx97xxc12xx MAKEMYTRIP (INDIA) PVT

    Afterwards i called to make my trip cust care, there they dont have any idea what happened. They are clueless and till date i have not got any refund.

    Hi,

    I made a booking on the 12/12/11 (yesterday) morning and received confirmation that my booking was successful. Shortly after I sent the passport details but it apparently didn't work because i didn't keep the same subject header. I was then sent another email asking me to re-send the information. As I was doing so the thought struck me that it was very odd to have to communicate the details this way, I am a frequent flyer and have never encountered such a way of doing things, so I investigated further on the internet and found a lot of negative testimonies surrounding makemytrip.
    The site clearly states that "The E-Ticket is emailed to the email address given at the time of booking within 30 minutes (for Domestic Flight and Rail bookings) of the time of booking and receipt of payment. It may take up to 3 days for the E-Ticket to be mailed to you in case of International Flights." Justifiably concerned, within my passport details email I included some questions and arguments to insure everything went as it should. It was been 24 hours since and I have heard absolutely nothing from your end.
    I am completely shocked at the unprofessional way things are handled, not to mention the very faulty and suspicious demands makemytrip has made and the way it functions. I am traveling on a very tight schedule and on a budget as a student and do not have the time or money to fuck around with a company such as yours.

    Most unreliable and cheat company make my trip online , I booked Bangkok package through them for my most important regular and rich customer they asked me Rs. 80,000 for 4 days package and promised to give five star hotel, rooms , private transfer, as online group package as available at rs. 32000 per pax ,I paid Rs. 16000 extra for private car service and even confirmed on there voucher copy as attached.

    When my customer reached Bangkok airport he is been provided big tempo traveler customer refused and paid 3000 thb from his pocket and took taxi then to pataya he has been provided d grade rooms to him which is not as promised so he spend again and took higher category rooms then next day city tour and other tour operator came with tempo traveler and asked for extra money, during this time whenever we asked makemytrip to give proper service or take extra money and upgrade rooms they were not ready to listen and just passing phone line from one point to another and kept us waiting for 4-5 hours and frustrated we left hopes. next day there was no transfer available and the emergency no. given by makemytrip never replies.
    our customer spend all from his pocket for an private transfer and to have an better rooms not even get any tour as promised by makemytrip. next day to Bangkok was even more horrible for customer they gave hotel out of city and last grade rooms even gave city tour with group in tempo traveler. my customer was that angry and makemytrip never supported and never replied on any query they got money the relation is over with customer.
    makemytrip promised for 2 night in pataya and 2 night in Bangkok and gave return ticket of 2nd night late flight so indirectly they skipped my customers 1 night in Bangkok, when we asked for to extend one night in Bangkok and cancel the return ticket in economy and to book and business class ticket for customer on 26th dec 2011, they instantly took our money for business class ticket and booked it but to cancel and to extend is not there lookout we kept calling them on the no. provided on there website and given as emergency no. contact but there as no one who can assist us or do the needful we called for about 6 hours continuously on 24th dec from 7.30[pm to midnight 12.00 but no response just transfer call from one point to another an keep waiting for long long hours.
    today even in morning we called to check what happened about our booking the scenario is same no answer and just pass on call

    my customer is that angry and not to continue with us ever and decided not to give us pending amount also. we lost our important customer and money just because we trusted makemytrip for our booking.

    this is pathetic company and will never care for customer once you paid them.

    Default regarding waynad package from cochin airport

    Dear sir,
    Mr. anikesh Patel from make my trip give me a full package including tax to and fro charges from nearest airport for waynad at 30458/- after that he told me if i taking it from cochin then it is 29000/- i told him to book that, i make part payment of 5,000/-
    for that. at that time i dont know the cochin to waynad distance is atlease 4 hrs as per google map. after 2 days i call him for the details of hotel that time i was shock he book my hotel room in near cohin airport at lotus hotel not in waynad
    i am going for relaxation and he give me a business hotel in city. waynad green gates hotel is in green nature and kochi hotel is in city. now he is arranging a cab from cochin airport to green gates hotel waynad which is 233 km from cochin and he is charging me rs 3820/- for that

    help me to get refund for this package.

    Default poor services took money but not providing hotel inspite of repeated reminder for last 5 days

    i booked hotel 7 days back and after taking full amount voucher was issued. 3 days later they called me to say that my booking has been done for 2 months later by mistake and asked for alternative hotels. after that i am calling again & again for 4 days but they are neither providing alternate booking nor refunding money. representative mr manoj disconnect the call after making wait on line for 3-4 mins or refuse to come on line. customer care replies that you will be given call back by seniors soon but no reply by them.

    Dear Sir,

    I am Anil Kumar Gurram from Hyderabad and a customer of Make my Trip.com. I would like to bring to your kind notice about my experience with Make my Trip during my vacation spent at Delhi in last week.

    I have contacted Make my trip contacts at 2 numbers and i was given a quotation of Rs.9000/- (initially they have quoted Rs.9600/- and later agreed for Rs.600/- discount) and Rs.10500/- seperately by two contacts. So, I have chosen the person who has quoted Rs.9000/- and I have asked them to provide Innova Deluxe cab and wheel chair and agreed and paid a final amount of Rs.10500/- for 2 nights and 3 days trip to Delhi and Agra including the sight seeings of various locations in both the ciites. Keeping in mind, the fame of Make my Trip.com, I was expecting a smooth and nice experience of having a good time in Delhi and Agra but to my surprise I and my family members (including 2 senior citizens) had a very terrible experience during our vacation New Delhi.

    To quote a few points in front of you, the bad experience which I and my family members have gone through, I am writing the below points and urge you to kindly consider to refund the amount of Rs.10500/- which was paid to Make My Trip at the earliest and oblige.

    1. The Innova Deluxe vehicle was said to be a new one and assured of good experience. But the Innova provided was in a bad condition and as requested, there is not even a Hand Rest in the vehicle and hence 2 of my family members who are senior citizens had been troubled with pain in hands. Also the seat near door which is adjustable so that passengers could occupy the last seats in the vehicle is not properly arranged and we went through lot of pain going inside the seats.

    2. The Driver Mr Deepak did not cover many places in Agra and demanding for Rs.100/- betta on day one. On our way from Agra to Fatehpursikri, he drew via a village route and did not follow the National Highway. May be this is because to avaoid the Toll Gate fee or tax thereon and thus made us travel an extra distance of say around 8 KMS which wasted our precious time.

    3. Though the package includes the Parking charges of the vehicle at all relevant places, Mr. Deepak, has been repeatedly insisting for extra parking charges.

    4. The Driver couldn't make us visit Akshardham temple. Also he did not make us to have the break fast on day 3.

    5. When I insisted for a comfortable and full coverage of all sight seeings, the driver had driven the vehicle on day 3 very Rashly and I and my family members got frightened very much because of the way in which the vehicle is moving in a rash way.

    6. Near Lotus Temple on day 3, the driver has left us more than 1 KM away from the site, and we were forced to walk till the Temple which hurted the age old people of my family. Also the driver asked for car parking charges, which I denied.

    7. Rs.200/- demanded at Redfort.

    8. The driver did not wear the seat belt at Parliament building which police have noticed and in return Deepak has demanded me Rs.2000/- saying that police have caught vehicle because luggage was on top of the vehicle, which is not at all a valid reason.

    9. Mr Deepak, being very rude to us, I thought of talking to Mr Rakesh who is Innova's owner, but in vain. Mr Rakesh also could not help us in any way.

    10. On day 3 , the driver did not show any site seeing places in Delhi and dropped us at 3.30 PM only at Airport though our flight is at 9 PM. We had to simply waste our time in Airport, which is other wise could have been utilised to see other places in New Delhi.

    Apart from the above, they have demanded Rs.5000/- extra again for Innova Deluxe at Agra, thought the final amount has already been agreed upon.

    Keeping in view the above points and hopeing that you understand, the mental agony, which I and my family members have undergone during our visit with Make my Trip, I demand the refund of Rs.10500/- at the earliest and oblige.

    Default Makemytrip Very poor service

    I had made telephone calls 3 times in a day to cancel my ticket, however the person incharge is not fully aware of the situation of what to do and told me that he would get his supervisor called back to me by evening yet I had not received any call from his supervisor and today (date of travel) has passed without the ticket cancelled.

    I need the cancellation amount for the ticket cancelled, else I would be compelled to make a complaint to the consumer court and also raise the issue in media.

    Kindly take an immediate action.

    You dont have a complaint redressal mechanism where customers are given proper care.

    You shouldn't do any kind of compromise in that because this is that kind of activity which is hurt lot.
