I Booked my ticket through makemytrip.com on 13 Feb 2011 for travel on 08th May from Mumbai to Cochin. My id is NF252333085905. Initially the flight was Indian Airlines flight No. IC-161. Later on due to the merger of Air India with Indian Airlines, the flight was rescheduled to AI 681. As per the new E-Ticket I received, the flight number had only changed rest all remains the same. The time of departure of the flight given the original e-ticket and the new e-ticket was 05.35 hrs, which mean 5.35 am. On 29th April, I logged on to Air India website to check whether the flight is getting cancelled due to Pilot strike, I was surprised to find that the departure time of the fligh is 17.35 hrs instead of 5.35. I called make my trip help line immediately to check the actual time on 29th April at 6.25 pm, Initially I was told that its 0535 hrs. Later on, when I pointed them of the ambiguity, I was told that I was right and the time of the flight is 17.35 hrs instead of 0535 hrs. Since the flight was rescheduled, the time has also changed and it has not been updated in their sight. I wish to inform that the flight was rescheduled in February 2011 and what took them so much time to update their website about the timing and inform the passengers.
Thankfully to the Pilot's strike, I rechecked. Other wise I would have been in trouble.
I request everyone to recheck their flight details with the corresponding airlines otherwise you will be in trouble.
