    Default Reg: e Ticket Refund : Customer Care of Yatra.com

    With reference to Yatra Ref number: 0909104543, for which I have booked initially for 6 people, I have cancelled bookings for 2 people. The journey was from Blr-Guwahati and Guwahati-Blr. After calling the customer care people for about a month (I've called them atleast 8-10 times), they asked me to send to them an Endorsement proof from the Airlines for getting my refund. I went to the airlines (KingFisher) and after I've obtained the details, I scanned them and sent it to their customer care mail ID: support@yatraonline.com. I have received an auto generated response from their side mentioning my reference number as : 5588285. I received this mail on Dec 8th. After that I've mailed them twice asking to them about the status. But I have not received any response from them.

    Hoping that someone will look into this issue soon.

    NB: I've posted the same in Airlines forum as well. Not sure as to which section this complaint falls into.

    Default Refund of Ticket

    Dear Sir,

    I have purchased a Ticket through Yatra for Mumbai to Madurai by Spicejet Sg 291 booking Yatra Reference number 08111016126 and Airline PNR number P89SLD. I have booked for 4 Adults and one Infant and the total charges is Rs.13797.70. I took Yatra's online ticket for 09.12.2010.
    While travelling on 09.12.2010, at Mumbai Airport, during checkin they said Infant name is not shown in their system and you have to buy ticket for Infant. Again I have purchased a ticket for Infant through Spicejet booking office at Mumbai Airport.
    So requesting you to refund the Infant ticket cost of Rs.800/- to me as early as possible. Please reply me if any details required.

    In this case legal direction are required by appropriate authorities to solve your this problem along with compensation for your unnecessary harassment.

We truly apologize for the inconvenience you have faced in this regard.We have processed the refund for the infant ticket for the amount of INR 803.20 from our end. We apologize for delay in processing the refund. As this is a credit card transaction the bank will take 3-4 days to update the credit to your account.
