NON REFUND OF ADVANCE PAYMENT FOR HOTEL BOOKING
Dearsir,
I (RUDRA NARAYAN JANA) have booked one room in Lolegaon at YANKEES STYA dist darjilling for myself and my friends for tour from Durgapur, through a travel agent Namely nature beyond Kolkata in the month of November 25th 2010 vide booking voucher no:-7929.At the time of booking they have demanded for a advance payment Rs. 1860, as my booking date is December 25th 2010. As per schedule I have booked the room on 25th November 2010 by payment of Rs 1860 in the axis bank in the name of nature beyond, siliguri at their central office. On 9th December 2010 I informed to the travel agent that I have some unavoidable circumstances, that’s why I have changed my tour and I asked the travel agent to cancel the booked room and return the rest amount after deducting their penalty charges. But miss rachana banerjee dealing officer of nature beyond refuse to return the same and she said that the hotel will not refund the money that’s why she will unable to refund my money. But at the time of booking she mailed me the deduction procedure and the rules of deduction charges of cancelation, where this type of norms is missing, now she refuse to stay on her points.
Hence I kindly request you take necessary action against the Travel agent to refund my advance payment ,please note below the complete address of travel agent with contact person details
