I had raised a complaint regarding the non-receipt of the 10% cash back amount for the bus ticket booking done through makemytrip, details mentioned below:
Complaint number: IN1011R0106029
Date of booking: 15/10/2010
Date of Travel: 27/10/2010 and 06/11/2010
It's nearing a month since the travel date but the cash back amount is not yet been credited to my account.
I had made repeated telephonic calls to the customer care to check on the refund status but I only have been receiving the response that the concerned department would revert within 48hours.
I again called up the customer care number yesterday and enquired on the status.
It's more than 48hours since I raised my complaint but I haven't yet got to hear from any department regarding the refund status.
Does it take so long to attend to a customer's query?
Why is this delay happening from their side, for the cash back payment? (Do they- makemytrip folks have any idea or only God knows??)
If it's a payment from a customer side, they won't process the ticket if the amount is not paid instantly whereas when it's their turn to refund the money, this is their fate.
These travel agents/companies are very much irresponsible these days.
I didn't expect such a delay from a travel assistance company of the stature of makemytrip!!
