Dear Mr. Shringi,

My name is Kanika Karan Vinayak and I am writing to you in regards to the nightmare which I am going through because of Yatra.com. On 15th July I had called Yatra.com to book my tickets, ref for which is : YT4876428,YT4876439. I have been talking to your customer care executive Ajay Kumar in international who was initially very helpfull.

After going through a whole long day conversation when I finally reached on the payment step and tried making payments several time on your IVR system he realised I may be having an international credit card because of which it is not accepting. So he told me yatra doesn't accepts international credit cards at all, not even at the yatra office in CP, New Delhi.On the 16th, he called me and told me that I can go to yatras office in CP and make payment through my International Credit Card. Plus he told me that the fares might increase after 12 am, so I though of going to the office same day. I work in Pitampura and my office gets over by 6pm. I called my husband and left my office 15 minutes earliy to reach yatra office before 7 pm. Mr. Ajay Kumar told me that he has informed the office that I am coming over there. We rushed from Pitampura to CP which is like 20 kms and managed to reached yatra.com office.

The nightmare starts when we reached there and was being told that cannot accept international credit cards here. I was shocked. I thought I will make payment through my ICICI Debit Card so that I can make use of yatra offer of refund using my ICICI Debit Cards. Then the guy told us that as they have shifted the office they don't have the credit card machine installed as of now..We were shocked to listen that. I called Ajay Kumar and told me the story and all he cud say was a "Sorry". My husband has to rush from his work and I had to rush from my work and after travelling 20 kms we came to know that there is no system to accept the CREDIT CARD AT THE YATRA OFFICE.Then the guy there told us to provide 25% cash and rest by cash and tickets will be confirmed. As we didn't had enough cash, we had to walk for 45 minutes more on the road to find an ATM.

We gave him the cash and then after going through so much trouble I asked they guy to send an executive to collect the cheque t my place. He was even reluctant to do that and only after i shouted he agreed to send an executive.

Also as I was suppose to receive 4 free domestic return tickets in regards to my booking, I have filled the form twice on yatra but no one called me. I called twice on the customer care but they don't seem to understand??

I would really like to know what you can do Mr. Dhruv for all the trouble which I went through other than an apology?

So to summarize this:

1. I couldn't use my ICICI Debit Card to make use of the yatra refund offer
2. Couldn't even use my International Credit Card
3. The company has nothing to say or compensate for the loss and the trouble I had to go through
4. Still haven't received my free air tickets?
