I got a reference for Tantra Holidays, a tour organisor from justdial.com service. He offered me a package and followed up and sounded convincing, so a booked a Kerala package. Since it had air ticket booking, he asked me to pay advance of Rs.20000. His office is at Kandivali and i stay at dombivali, however he was willing to send a person for this. So i paid him by cheque. Since then i have been repending!! I paid him on December 31, however, did not receive any call from him till Jan end. In Feb 1st week, since i wanted to enquire something, i called him, but he did not pick up phone calls for a week and finally picked up when i complained to justdial services. He spoke to me and promised not to worry and that he was unwell, and he will contact me later. Now, again, he never called up till date. When i wanted to check whether he has made ticket booking i tried calling him and again he is not picking up phone. This time, he is not picking up phone even when i complained through just dial services.
I have requested justdial to blacklist him, and i want now to carry out legal procedure. Shouid i file police complaint, or should i go to consumer court, or should i do both?? can someone advise?

These people are cheat. Right from boss to office boy. They are from Hyderabad.The owner is Jagdish Acharya alias "Jaggu" his brothers Ravi and Shekhar look after the business as he him self is employed with Le meridian, Juhu and visits the office in the evening after 6 PM.The brain behind the modus operandi is Jagdish and one Madhvi Patel. they just avoid picking phone. earlier their office was in Thakur complex Kandivli (E). Then In Malad and at present they are operating from V Mall Kandivali (E).And may be by the time you are reading this posting they might have shifted to some other place.
Mr. Ponkshe, you are from Dombivali why don't you visit there office and ask for your money. It would be better to contact the economic crime wing of Mumbai Police, there office is at CST opposite Crawford market. And a case can be filed in consumer dispute redressal forum after issuing them a notice.
They are cheat to the bottom. Hotel Le meridian started a membership and this Jagdish Acharya is in accounts deptt. with Le Meridian and had access to all the documents and information of membership activity and formed Sai Siddhi holidays Pvt. Ltd.and membership club( Tantra holiday is sister concern) and diverted all the client to his newly formed company. by doing this he has not only cheated his employer but is collecting the money from innocent people in the name of providing them free vacations, whereas he is a fly-by-night man. there are lots of people in travel industry whom he has cheated. Hoteliers In Kerala, Himachal Pradesh, New Delhi to name a few Zurich resorts at Shimla, Sun Park at Chandigarh, Dalhousie height at Dalhousie, Hotel Land Mark Inn in Delhi and many more, beside me.
I provided them transportation for the North ie. J&K, Himachal, Rajsthan, Uttarakhand and Delhi Etc.They issue the cheques with forged signature of the person who have already retired from this concern. moreover after issuance of the cheques they just closed the bank accounts and in one of my case they just asked the bank to stop the payment. A criminal case under IPC 420 and IPC 138 is pending in the Haryana courts against them.

Majority of those who have been cheated at their hands have started criminal proceedings.

So please beware of Tantra Holidays, Sai Siddhi holidays Pvt. Ltd & membership club and Enigma holidays. all these are run by this group of scoundrels.

I too was cheated by these scoundrels. I took a pckg for nainital auli n corbett.i was supp to travel on 16th may and be bk on 20thmay. These guys nt only took full pymt in cash but also goofed up wth the trvl dates, sent tkts on email at 1.30in d mrng on16th. Changed the trvl plan wtht askng.. gv us wrong info on time taken to various places. Didnt pay the transport guy from whom cab had been hired with driver,as a result of which we hd towww arrange cab till delhi airport on our own spndng double amt. had nt made bookings in hotels where v wnt. We had to call n follow up desperately to get accco done at nainital we had to pay frm our pocket to stay,though had cnfrmd wth their manager abt our plan to cancel trip to auli and stay bk at nainital as it wud have tkn almst24hrs to reach and these bastards had told its only 2hrs journey frm nainital. The hotel guys were askng us to check out but afer payng frm own pocket nd requesting they agreed to extend our stay. Transport agent also kpt abusing us fornt gttng his pymt.They stopped answrng our calls and didnt revert coz of,which i hd to cm bk early than d schedule.


I was on a honeynoon pckg which, these people ruined to
the core.pls help to take thm to task and get a full refund. Also damages done for mental trauma, Humiliation faced etc.

We have a hotel Landmark Inn situated at main arya samaj road karol bagh, new Delhi.We got the bookings from Tantra Holidays ( Sai Holiday_Membership Pvt Ltd) Mumbai in the year 2009. We confirmed them the bookings and when we asked for booking amount they commited us to pay all the amount atthe time of guest checks in. Even though we did not received any booking amount against their bookings. We had given rooms to the guest. At the same time we asked them for the payment as per their commitment for paying the amount at the time of Guest checkin. Again they told us to transfer the amount of 45000/-to our bank account within 2-3 days.
Although their guest checkout they hadn't transfered the amount. When we tried to contact them again they tell us to transfer the amount within 1-2 days for atleast one month and then after a month they refused to pay us the amount till date.
So we are informing not to deal with tantra Holidays ( Sai Holiday_Membership Pvt Ltd) as it is a fake and fraud company.

We are having Hotel Ravikiran at Alibaug. Tantra Holidays has given booking on 20th August to 23rd August 2010 for 3 Super deluxe Rooms for 3 nights and collected Rs.45000/- from client. but till date we have not received amount from Tantra Holidays, after repeated phone calls.Even they have mail me the pay in slip of ICICI Bank but after a week also cheque is not clear .
So beware of Tantra Holiday cheating.
Mr. Kunal and Madhavi Patel both are cheater, Lier.
This is our advice to all the people not to deal with Tantra Holidays.

I had gone for a vacation with my freinds(4people) to Jammu kashmir,amritsar,delhi. Tantra holidays did book a good travel ittenary for us but not upto the mark. We were promised two house boats in KAshmir but were provided only one and we were stuck for more than an hour on the road in the cold climate. ALong with that the hotel provided to us in JAmmu was also way below standards. They took a handsome amount of money from us promising us that the hotels would be good(which defn was not the case in Jammu) Also along with that we were never informed that in GUlmarg-Kashmir we would have to pay for the sight seeing and hire another cab. Tantra holidays did cheat us to some extent. THEY ARE WAY TOO EXPENSIVE AND NOT WORHT A PENNY.

About tantra holidays, no matter how much you say about their frsaadulent activities it is less. you can spend a whole day talking about dfraud cases and activities, an endless loist of people cheated by them. these bastards have not spared their own employess - there are a few employees who not been paid, though thay remained loyal to these bastards. though there were several complaints against there seems no solid action is being taken. some travel agents from the noorth had visited his residencce with the police, with a little "chai paani" settlement had recovered some amount. still lots more to go. the main culprit jagdish acharya is underground. his brothers ravi n shekhar run the show and also have support to do so, because of which they fearlessly still run an office. jagdish does not answer any fone calls and madhavi as well.

THESE BASTARDS WILL LEARN THE HARD WAY - YOU CANNOT DIGEST INOCENT PEOPLES HARD EARNED MONEY. i would contribute and support towards some campaign or legal proceeding against these suckers.
