We would like to bring to the notice of the authorities, fraudulence of a Holiday group named AJ Interlinks Pvt. Ltd. Chennai.

We were invited to their office notifying that we have been selected lucky winners from a lucky dip at a local Mall. The call we got was on 26/11.'09. We were informed that we had won a kitchen set and 3 vouchers. Reaching the office on 30/11/'09, we were informed about a 2 hr presentation and that the gifts will be given only after that.

The presentation was about holiday planning and offers available under RCI (Resorts Condominium International) that we could avail from AJ Interlinks Pvt. Ltd. At the end, they talked about the special offer of 1,68,000 INR (without the offer, INR 3,68,000) for a 30 yrs membership with RCI. The decision had to be taken right at the moment. Seeing that we were reluctant to take a decision on such a big amount that soon, they offered another package of INR 10,000. This included a one-week trip to anywhere in India, with the coverage of accommodation costs and discounts on travel/food/shopping costs.

Finally we decided to try out the INR 10,000. We paid by debit card, and the card was taken away from us. The amount was debited the same day, and a receipt was given in their name (Receipt No. 1885, Dated- 30/11/'09). It was informed that we will get a call from their call center in Bangalore the very next day. Not only we haven't received any calls from them yet, regarding the membership or offers, but we could also see many number of complaints against this company and their fraudulence on web-forums and blogs.

We would like to find if there are other people in this community who have been victims of this fraudulence and have a strong mass complaint filed against the mentioned company.

Not only they offer good attactive packages in the initial stage but also put some clausus hidden with no parameter or metrics of calculation behind it. But when you ask about those they say it will be very negligible need not to worry.

I had paid 55K for 7 days package any where in india for 5 years. Also they said minimum 3 start or 5 star hotel in inida any where. but i ask them to book orange county in coorg karnataka they said it is full running out. They said Solitary exotica or venkateshwara residency is available. when i asked them to book solitary exotica they said it is not available now and only they can book venkateshwara residency. I some how agreed to go for it and the real surprices started after that.
They now say i need to pay 5500 utility charges which on what basis they are calculating i am not sure. The actual cost of the rooms there is 2000 per day and you can see for three days for two rooms i need to pay 5.5K utility charges which is absolutely does not make any sence. They say it is clearly specified in the contract we have to pay the utility charges but i wonder how they can charge such a huge amount as utility charges. I am planning to go to consumer court if they does not negate the high prices of utility charges. Also they said i will be a free member of 10 local club and would be receiving a card for the same and i am yet to hear about that from them stil.

I became a member of this by paying 50,000 Rs.,and they promised me that accomodation will be free for list of resorts under RCI. And they will give me 7 days holiday per year.

Now, i sent a email to reserve a resort at Bandipur for 2 days, they are asking me to pay additional Rs. 5,200/- when i enquired for what this extra cost is. They say that this is luxury tax, some tax, etc.,. They claim that they have informed about this during membership signup. But, Until now no one had informed me about this tax.

I asked them for refund of money as I am not happy with this, they say that they cant refund the money for 2 years.

Please let me know how can I raise a complaint against this fraud company.

We had similar experience with this company, they kept on calling us for this gift, holiday package and more benefits,

Fortunately we read through some info onsite and were alarmed much ahead before shelling out any rupee

AJ Interlinks is a 100% Fraud company.
They called me one day and told that I have won a free gift, and i should come along with my wife to collect it. When i said I am not married, they asked me where I am working, When i said that I am working for Cisco systems, she spoke to her manager and says that, its ok if I am single, but I can come & collect the gift. (Strange! working for cisco = married ahah).

Anyway, I went to see what the gift is. There they said, they will have a presentation on some offer, only after that they will give the free gift. They explained some things about their organization, and about their packages etc.,

Some Manager said, For Rs. 1,98,000, I get 1 week free holiday anywhere in world. I thought its too much of cost, and i said no. Then he offered me other price, he said, pay 65,000 for holiday in anywhere in India.
I thought may be this is a good deal, 7 days free accomodation for 65,000 is a good deal. I said, i will pay in EMI's. Then he says, I will give you another best offer, Pay me 50,000, and pay it immediately without any EMI. I thought ok may be i can save 15,000.
Then they say that If i am willing to become a member, i should decide immediately and sign a agreement on the spot. I asked if i can take 2 days time and decide it later. They say, No, I should decide immediately & sign the agreement.

I thought for a moment and decided to go with it, they said, i will receive all details & a AJ Card in a week time.

But I didnt get any details, call nor card for almost 20 days. Whenever I called customer support, they just said it will take few more days.
Finally after a month, I got the card.
I decided to go to Bandipur for 2 days holiday, and i sent a email for reservation. They reply back saying I should pay additional Rs. 5,200 for 2 days holiday. I was shocked, i asked them for what this Rs,5,200 is for, they say this is Exchange Fees, and claim that this is there in agreement and they informed us during membership signup. But, the fact is no one informed about this additional charges during membership signup.

Their Customer support is the worst I have seen. They cant speak proper English, and for any query, they will tell that they will call you back in 1 hour, and they never call back. I am sick of calling them 100 times just to hear some stupid response.

As I was not happy with these, I asked for refund of money & cancel membership, but they say that As per agreement, they cant refund the money for 2 years.
I was tricked by them, I was forced by them to sign the agreement.

I want to get my money back.
Please let me know how can I raise a complaint against this fraud company.

Now that it is clear that they have tricked many of us here, along with many others who haven't yet voiced it out, we would like to know how could we take this to legal procedures. We too got similar kind of call regarding the Prizes from the same concern , and asked us to come and collect the gift from their office.They called us frequently to collect the prizes (daily min 4 calls), so we got doubt abt this and searched abt them in the internet. Luckily we got this forum abt this fraudulent .. Thanks for giving awareness abt this ...

Not surprised to see these complaint forum on this AJ group.

Like others in this group, I also got a call from them Last week - same way of approaching people - saying I had won gift vouchers and a dinner set.

Since the lucky coupon I dropped was in Big Bazaar, I thought maybe I can trust this group. Went in with my wife.

One Muslim guy came to me and had a session. Me being a muslim he was trying to create a good rapport talking about religion, my job, my native place and was trying to relate him with me and trying to get closer to me.

Explained all the bull shit stuffs on the package and finally said his manager will talk to him on other agreement policies.

I believe they follow the same trend of saying the packages and trying to push for us to pay the money immediately. I was thinking that i can consider to go and asked them that I need two days time to think on this, but they were trying to push immediately and they said the offer is only for that day and i cannot get the same offer again, stating that if i try to approach RCI (the parent company for which they are advertisiing), it would cost around 3 Lakhs.

He gave me 49 k for india destination trips and said if i pay immediatey i will get lot of benefits. I said i will discuss wtih my wife separately but even they hesitated to send us out of the room and wanted us to disucss in the same room, but i pushed and said i need to go out and discuss. Finally wtih my wife decided that we are not going to go for this, as we cannot commit for 49k or whatever it is just like that without doing any search in the internet.

i don't know how they get the guts to cheat in this open world, when in a single click you can get all the information on this fraud company.

When i said i am not in favor of signing, the so-called manager said he will waive 9k from that 49k and wanted us to pay minimum 10000. he said he can talk with the bank guys and can arrange me a EMI of no interest.

I said NO. again he offered me saying that he would give me a week's package for 10k and wanted to pay IMMEdiately. Again i said NO and came out of that company.

but since i wasted my 2 hour time, i pushed for the coupons and the dinner set which they promised, though i will not use the coupons they gave me.

Finally they gave me the coupons and a six-bowl icecream set which is not worth my time but still got that.

I will surely spread this news with my friends group and will try to save my friends' time if they ever get a call from this company.

Guys - you please do the same and try to spread awareness on this fraudulent companies.

Hi guys - I missed one thing in my previous post.

During my session with them, during the final moments, one of the guys came with the filled form and with credit card was asking the Manager (the guy who was trying to persuade us into using our card) if he can use the card in the machine or some thing like that.

Trying to make us believe that others are going for that and i can trust them to use my card as well.

also during my initial conversation they said that i can pay any amount as the initial amount and convert the remaining as EMI and during the final call, they said they expect minimum 10,000.

I was little prudent to decline their offer.

I received a similar call although this was on my wife's mobile phone. The first question was did you visit any mall in Bangalore?? When we said that we visit some malls regularly, the immediate answer was "in that case you have been selected for a lucky draw" when we asked him which draw this was and in which mall we were told that is immaterial. I was asked to come to their Bangalore office in Jayanagar at around 4:30 and that I could also leave by 5 or 5:15. When I asked why they couldnt courier the gift vouchers, the explanation was that they had to explain to me about the gift vouchers before handing it over?? Thats pretty strange considering it is just a holiday package and any explaining can be done over the phone as well. After I googled these guys and saw all the discussions and complaints here, I called and spoke to the guy who had called me and told him what I had found out. His reaction was that no in the marketing field there is lot of competetion so their competetiors had put such defamatory articles on the internet, and that they too could write bad things about their competetion on the internet just to give a bad name.
All in all I am glad I decided to research these guys before going to their office and falling into their trap. Thank you all for posting these experiences on the net.
