Dear All,
I have booked my flights for Hong Kong and back with Make My Trip as on 19th of Sept, 2009. The Flights were confirmed. Seats on the airline (4 Flights) allocated. SMS confirmations sent and Booking ID FLTINT10004246206 issued. My credit card was also debited of the requisite amount. These flights were booked on Cathy Pacific.
Later on 20th Sept, 2009 (Sunday) I got a call from Ms Monica that all bookings have been cancelled and would I like to make fresh booking. She also informed me that Mr. Haider had called me up on the 19th regarding the cancellation. This was untrue and I told her so. I also told her that it was the obligation of Make my Trip to issue new tickets at no additional cost as all confirmations had been made. This was their legal and contractual obligation. Not to mention their moral duty. There was no call from them despite an assurance from the said Ms Monica. Since this was an important business visit to a fair in China I went on to book my tickets
I did call up the customer care on Monday (21st September) and talked to Mr. Ravi who assured help but never called up. Since this was an important business visit to a fair in China I went on to book my tickets directly with Cathy Pacific. Amazingly on the same flight as previously I had booked with Make my Trip. Only I paid extra due to the intermediate gap.
I have also mailed to admin at makemytrip.com internationalbookings at makemytrip.com on the 21st and 22nd Sept, 2009 without receiving any reply.
I have now decided to let the management of Make my Trip know that they cannot take the customer for a ride any more. When I see the number of complaints on your portal I am amazed how this company is being allowed to do business. I would like all those who have suffered at the hands of Make my Trip to unite and file lawsuit against this appalling, unmoral and corrupt company.
Finally, on the 27th Sept, 2009 I got a mail from make my trip as under:

Greetings from MakeMyTrip.
With reference to your following booking, refund is being processed.
Booking No. :
FLTINT10004246206
The refund would reflect on your card in next 7 business days or the next billing cycle whichever is later.
We therefore request you to kindly verify the facts in your next credit card statement.
We value your business with us and look forward in assisting you with all your travel plans.

My Mail to Make my Trip
Dear Sir/Ma'am,
I wld like to know the status of my booking made on the 19th Sept, 2009. Booking ID FLTINT10004246206. Pls be assured that I have a confirmed booking through your site with Cathy Pacific. Confirmations being made on your portal, SMS & Email sent to me. I also have a seat arrangement for my journey.
Yesterday I received a call from Ms Monica that this booking cannot be availed and if wanted Make My Trip could book me on anothe carrier. I asked her to forward the information on my email. This was promised but not done.
I have today called up your customer support and spoke to Mr. Ravi in the morning. Again I was assured that someone will call me up in 15-20 minutes and I am yet to receive any call.
It is your responsibility to ensure that my travel is absolutely clean and without hassles. Please also bear in mind the contractual and legal implications of this deal.
You are requested to revert back with a viable solution to this request.
