No refund of money even when the ticket didn't get booked. Dear Sirs,
I had tried booking a domestic flight ticket from Mumbai to Chennai for 23rd May'11 through net-banking on 25th April'11. Somehow the ticket didn't get booked, but, money got deducted from my account. In such cases, the noney gets credited to the account after 5 working days but its more than 10 days and still, I haven't received the money back.
So, I lodged a complain on 4th May'11 which is as follows:

Its been more than 24 hrs but still they have neither mailed nor contacted with me. What kind of irresponsibility is that? I am sure that i am never again going to book ticket from MAke My Trip.

Scam and Fraud - make my trip ( Makemytrip.com ) I had the worst experience with MakeMyTrip.com. My credit card has been charged on April 9 but tickets were not provided, everytime I called they kept assuring me that, I will get my eticket within 2 hrs, within3 hrs, within 24 hrs and at some point the guy even lied by saying "oh no worries sir, you will receive your tickets in 15 min". He was insulting my intelligence. I knew he wasn't going to provide me with the ticket in 15 min, I gave him the benifit of the doubt. Obviously, I didnt get the ticket. Then the story got interesting: Apparently the flight that I have booked doesnt exists. I confirmed with the Airline that the flight does exist, MakeMyTrip.com lied.
Funny thing is that everytime I called they kept assuring by saying " I promise...". At the end they forced to change my itinerary. However I still havent received that ticket yet (It has been 1 month) If I did not know couple of indian friends, I would assume that indians are liers and their word means nothing. Anyway: lesson learned never deal with the indian based companies, pay a bit more and save a headache.
I think MakeMyTrip.com provides you with the flight of your choice at cheaper price than the competitors during initial booking and once the transaction is completed they will lie to you and force to change your itinerary so they can increase their profit.
Never book through them, especially international flights!!!
fraudster company I bought an international ticket and Makemy trip interchanged first name and last name. when this was pointed out Make my trip cancelled the ticket and passed on Rs 6000/- as cancellation charges and also levied Rs 4000/- extra as difference in fare. The mistake was totally that of Make my trip and have documentary evidence. Propose to proceed legally for refund of additional payments made and compensation for mental torture. Can anyone help
