I had made an international hotel booking through makemytrip.com in April for Paris. There was a discounted fare on makemytrip.com. The website has tied up with booking.com and so I was redirected to booking.com and i got a booking reference from booking.com. For the last 3 months, I have been chasing them for a makemytrip booking ID, which they have failed to provide citing various various reasons. The reason I need the booking ID is so that I could make use of the PAYBACK tie up and get some points. Makemytrip even committed twice now that they would update the points, but nothing has been done in this regard. Every time it is a new excuse and the issue has gone on for ever now. I have the excerpt of my mail interactions with makemytrip since no one from the tele customer support was willing, or able to help. They would keep me on hold fro minutes and then just disconnect the phone.
I have even asked for an escalation mail, but they have refused to provide any. Certainly, I am not using makemytrip for any future transactions, but hopefully someone on this forum could guide me as to what to do. I have the details of my interaction with makemytrip.
