    I am writing to you to share my grievance with respect to the Club Mahindra membership that I took for 3.48 lacs (1 Bedroom apartment in red season) from your Delhi team.
    I am giving a small background to the case for you. I had called club Mahindra and asked them to send a person as I was interested in signing up for club Mahindra membership. This sales person, Dinesh Sharma landed promptly at my place and I signed up the membership as I was told that Club Mahindra has a lot of resorts across the country and I was given a demonstration on the properties that you have developed across the country. After I signed when I approached Mr. Sharma with respect to booking our first holiday, he guided us to the call centre and rightly so.

    When we called the call centre, and we wanted to book the holiday 1 month prior to our travel, the rude shock was given to us that there are no vacant rooms available across the country in any of the resorts. When we inquired further, the lady said that we have to book 6 months in advance for us to choose!!!!!

    I would request you to tell me if you can plan for a holiday 6 months in advance and stick to it? At least we cannot. So, we called Mr. Sharma who after dodging some calls said he will look into it and help us get the rooms. At the same time he said that they have many members and hence the rooms are in short supply so they are building another 600 rooms. Till then, customers like us should wait??? We also communicated to Mr. Abhinav Kumar, Mr. Sharma’s manager but the response was least said, pathetic.

    After struggling for a couple of weeks we decided we had enough because currently we are young and have energies to chase with your people, but after a few years, we may not want to chase individuals, for them to honor the commitment. So, we decided that we cancel this move and rather not go forward with the membership. And, then I communicated to Mr. Sharma that we would stop the EMIs and request club Mahindra to cancel our membership. Since then, your sales people are absconding and , every time I speak to Mr. Abhinav, he promises to come back to me. But he is missing....

    Club Mahindra should cancel our membership and return our down payment and first EMI, without any deductions as this is a case of non-performance. Request you to kindly help in resolving this issue at the earliest.

    Dear Sir,

    I had enrolled as a member in Club Mahindra on 28/06/2008 after a salesman came over
    to our house and convinced us about the highlights of the membership. He also told
    that full refund would be given of the advance amount if the membership is cancelled
    within 10 days. We in our family had second thoughts about the membership and I gave
    a written letter for cancellation of the membership to their office at RMall, Mulund
    on 04-07-2008. The letter was handed over to the same salesman Mr. Mujib Shaikh and
    he acknowledged receipt of the same. He also assured that the payment would be made
    within 1 month.

    I have been writing reminders after remunders every month for getting this refund of
    Rs.41122/- I had paid, but there is no proper response. Whenever they give a date,
    they do not pey by that date and till now I have not received the refund.

    The papers are with their Vashi office and I have been contacting Mr. Sudip
    Pokhriyal and Mr Manish Bagwe for this.

    I wish to know the right procedure to adopt from now onwards, so that a proper case
    can be developed against them. I have all their e-mails promising payment within
    some periods as proof.

    I seek help from you in this regard.

    Hi,
    I took the membership and then immediately cancelled after seeing the feedback from some of my friends. Since it was within 15 days of enrollment I was supposed to get complete refund of the down payment. I got the cheque after some mails and calls but the name on the cheque was wrong. After that I asked them to resend the cheque with correct name which should be as per my credit card details which they have with them. I kept sending mails and also made several calls but there is no update. Now they do not even reply to my mails. Please let me know what is the best way to handle this. My member id was 2360225.
