11th Dec 2011 (Sunday night) - I have traveled with my family by using Express BUS from CHIDAMBARAM to Bangalore. Bus No. TN32N3319 VILLUPURAM DEPO Bus. Ticket No. 046327


Main problem.

Bus driver was not felling well. So driver slept for ½ hours. Then he started the buss – because he was not well Same reflected In his driving. He took the buss till neyvaliy and stoped in between naively and BANDRUTI.. He was suffering from chest pain like heart attack. One of our passengers called 108. Driver moved to G.H PANRUTY. Conductor have arranged new driver. I am not pointing any mistake on driver. He could have told no to drive and arrange for other driver. But he is not done. Passengers not worried about delay -- Because passengers worried about their safety and than drivers health.



Sub Problem :


Bus is not cleaned inside and outside both.

There is no first aid box.

Luggage carrier is in very very bad conditions. Almost like falling on passengers head.

Bus seat condition is very bad.?

I don't want any companstaion. Who have done the fault should be identified thru investigation and should be punished.

My question is ?


1.Why the driver not changed at the beginning. ?

2. Is he given proper rest. ? Particularly who is driving on the nights ?

3. Why conductor not advised driver to take rest?

4. Why bus is not maintained properly?

5. Private busses are doing well with few bus and routes. Why corporation bus are in the very bad condition. ?

6. Why Corporation is not investing more on projects like Mamandor ? Why ladies travelers suffering are ignored regularly? Long travelers

7. People are traveling around 300k.m by standing and sitting the floor. ? Why there is no exacta services on Sundays.

8. Corporations should be an autonomic body under control of Government. There should not be any polical interventions. Because personally I know ex.Transport minister Took 1.5 lack for driver posting from one of my relative.

10. We are ready to pay the bus fares what u are charging . But where is the basic service. Where is the basic required quality ?

11. Why you are treating the passengers like buffalos?

12. Why there is no complaint register from corporation?

13. There should be a system like flying squads should check surprisingly and regularly and also should take complaints from passengers and drivers on their issues.

14. Please arrange regular health checkups for drivers. Like yoga , mediations would help them to improve their health.

15. Please encourage them to play some games like table tennis. To improve their health. Drivers mostly suffered on stress related issues. My relatives suffering on diabatis and one died in heart related problem.


16. People doesn't have time to go for Consumer court. ? If all go What the answer from transport corporations.


I have return such complaints before also some issue like Bed bugs in SETC. Transport corporations should not engage private and other state transports.


My intention is to improve the quality of transport service. At least People should not have any basic problem like this. Simple quality service should be provided. People should be prod on Tamil nadu state transport bus. i have sent the same mail to tamil nade CM cell also. I don't have time to go for consumar court and file RTI, i have to take care of my family between this problems and my problem. By seeing suffering of poor and innosant public people am writing this complaint.
