The charged me INR 6, 100.00 (Indian Rupees Six Thousand and One Hundred only) for this - including luggage insurance.
I was in touch with Mr Rakesh (Phone number : +91 9341552105) and Mr Mahender (Phone number: +91 9916906105) - these two are of their Bangalore Office Staff .
On 29th November 2009, Mr Rakesh came to my place and collected the stuff.
Today is 13th January 2010 and my family has still not received the goods.

We mailed again and again but no one replied to the emails. In this 1.5 months I and my family members have called their Bangalore and Delhi Offices at least 50 times. When we called at their Mobile numbers, they didn't pick it up most of the times.
When we called at the landline numbers, every time a new person picked up and said he would look into the matter and call back on the next day. But never ever anyone called back.

THIS COMPANY IS FULL OF FRAUDS. I URGE PEOPLE NEVER EVER TO AVAIL THEIR SERVICES.

We have gone through your complaint, and suggest you to send a written notice to the Manager of the Allied Packers and Movers via registered post , mention all the details in it and ask them to deliver the product within day or two after receiving the notice, else you will drag them to the Consumer Forum.

Threatening the company repeatedly with legal action finally worked. After a legal notice was sent, goods were delivered within 24 hours.

Dear friend

i am also facing the came difficulty with allied packers,mahipalpur,delhi.
As we shifted from delhi to raipur ,our things worth around 40,000/- are missing.
we have contacted Mr. Sharma 100 times but always he gives a false promise.
He had charged some amount for the insurance also,but god knows if he had really done that or not.
we really don't know what to do now.
pls help...............

I just want to give one suggestion. Never go for the safe packers and movers. They are big fraud and thief. I just parceled bike from Delhi to Bangalore, first they charged less than others and promise me to deliver the bike into a one week. But sad part start after that. After week they showed their real color. When I called them after one week.It was a Wednesday. First they said, u r bike is still not in a town. I will call u tomorrow. They didn’t call. I called again on nest day. They said “it is in town, I will send u today only. “, But they didn’t and didn’t take care to inform me. Again I called on same day about the status. But no response. Same thing happened on Friday and Saturday. I was calling them continually but no response. They were not picking up the call. I was so worried about my bike. Finally, I sent a message with saying that, I am gonna do the police case on them. They only call after that and said I will send u today only. Still they lied. They said I will send on Monday morning without forgetting, so u wont miss u r office. But they came up on evening 7 o’clock with my half bike. Yes, here is the miserable part. They gave me my bike in a very pathetic condition. It was broke and screeched from all the side. Both side mirrors were missing. Side lights were totally gone. And I gave them my helmet to help the guy who came to pick the bike in Delhi. But in Bangalore they said and I haven't give any helmet to them, after some time they said, it was in very bad condition so they thrown it. And they were asking more money also because they it’s a Bangalore.

And of the day, I was very depressed and unhappy with their service. They stolen my helmet, my bikes mirror and totally broke my side lights. And delivery after 15 days.

So, guys, plz don’t go for the safe packers and movers. They really fraud and thief.

Please beware of the Allied Movers and Packers private limited, I dealt with Mr Mahendra Sharma (Sales Manager) from the company, he offered me a very economic package for transportation of household goods from NCR to Bangalore and took Rs. 500/- in advance. When i discussed with them about these threads before i packaged and delivered my goods, he claimed that these are fake threads. When i offered him to pay the shifting charges on delivery (in bangalore), he refused and gradually started hard talks. When i asked him for my money back, he shouted badly and disconnected the call. When he came to visit my place to estimate the goods, he seem to be a gentleman but by the time story concluded I saw another face of him.

I am not worried about Rs. 500/-, but i am still happy that i saved a plenty of amount and all my house hold goods. I think i made a wise decision to get rid of this packers and movers company.

Hi , i used the services of allied movers and packers on Oct 27th to transport house hold goods from Hyderabad to Bangalore, the goods was delivered 2 days later , however they did missed to deliver one of the cartoon boxes containing stuffs of value around 12,000 , when checked with them they're saying they are trying to trace it for last 5 days now, i think of almost 50 + calls i made to them , seems like they're making stories, i want to know file a petition in consumer court against them, can you please advise how i go about it ?

Please beware of allied packers & movers. I dealt with Mr. Ramavatar Sharma from their Delhi office and he offered economy package of Rs.7000 for shifting of household goods from Delhi to Lucknow on 02 Oct'10 and ensure proper delivery of goods within one day. Also he collected the total amount at the time of loading of goods. But they delivered goods after 3 days in which most of goods are broken in which our plastic cooler is now no of use. Also he sent nobody for unloading of goods at Lucknow instead of same has been charged. We called him so many times but
either he not picked the phone or refuses to take the responsibility of damaged goods.
Also the goods are unloaded and loaded to different vehicles in way which damaged most of kitchen utensils.
