Angry Sony LCD 18 months old, Not Working, Panel Problem

My Faith in Sony products has been quashed. On September 10th, 2010, I had bought a Sony Bravia KLV-32BX300 IN5 series LCD from Sony Center (Adishwar), Bangalore.

Barely 1 year and 6 months have passed and the LCD has developed picture problems. The picture is flikering. On serching the internet I was aghast to find out that numerous number of people have complained about Sony products and services. Most of them say that Sony products are good only during the warranty period, once the warranty is over it is upto God. I regret not having read these forums and blogs before I went ahead and bought this Sony LCD.

Since the last three days I have tried every customer care number of Sony and i have even filled up the online complaint form, but as expected there has been no response from Sony. The toll-free numbers are a pain in your @$$ .

Sony thinks that if the warranty period is over it's responsibility is also over. But i am not going to sit idle....i demand justice from Sony. Unless and untill i get that, i am going to expose Sony on every Social Networking Sites, blogs, forums and will ask my friends-relatives-collegues to stop buying Sony products and promote the negative campaign that i have started against Sony.

If anyone at Sony is listning then wake-up and respond. Your company just can't sit there and say "sorry for the inconvenience".

Amazing after sales service by Sony India!!! Hats off to Sony India, they have resolved my issue of flickering LCD TV by replacing the faulty LCD panel with a new one and have charged me only the service charges. And to top it all the matter was resolved within a week. Many thanks to Mr. Suresh Reddy from Abhivrudhi Tech (Sony service center) and Adishwar Stores.

However, i must acknowledge that for a customer quality/relaibility is the first priority while buying a product and not after sales service. Sony must make a note of this.
