    Default Hopeless service... Sony!!!!

    Dear all,

    Please have a look at the following mail.I have mailed to sony service more than 3 times and they have not responded yet.THEY ARE SO USELESS..see what experiences i had with them.PLEASE READ THIS MAIL FULLY.

    Dear Sir/Mam,

    This mail is to inform the incompetency and carelessness shown by your customer care executives and service centres.
    I have a VAIO VPCZ 126 GG [serial number 7000961]purchased on 7th of Dec 2010 which started showing lines and various jerky patterns while booting.I have given my laptop two times at service centres now and am still experiencing the same problem which shows how careless they are towards customers complaints.

    First I gave it to the Lajpat nagar Service centre in December itself which was sent to CLUB ELECTRONICS South extension for repairs. They had my laptop on hold for almost 15-20 days and returned it to me just by formatting and reinstalling windows.When asked why the lines/patterns were still coming they said it was WINDOWS 7 problem.When I asked them if this was the case with all the WINDOWS 7 PCs all around the world, they had no answer.They told me they were contacting Microsoft that would be coming with an update/patch which could solve my problem or I could choose to leave my laptop for 20 more days. UTTER SHIT....

    [This clearly is a hardware problem as i showed it to them.]

    Second time I again gave it to CLUB ELECTRONICS (as i have nowhere to go as I am in Lajpat nagar). This time they went 1 step ahead. Following are the problems that I faced with the service centre this time as expected
    I received my laptop without any protection film over and lots of scratches on top [who will pay for the damages]
    This time they kept me waiting for 20 days and replaced my Hard Drive [was not required at all as its a display problem]
    They didnt replace my battery [job sheet had problem mentioned for low performance]
    One of service centres' executives was using my laptop for personal use [I found his resume on my laptop]

    When I complained about all my unresolved problems this executive made me talk to Mr. Kuldeep Singh [from SONY Head office at Mathura road] who said SONY would give me lifetime warranty for the same problem and promised the same would be mailed to me till 13th of Feb which is today failing at which I was forced to write this mail.

    Moreover whenever I called at 1800 103 7799, the customer care executives had no information about my laptop despite telling them my laptop serial number.

    I would be giving my laptop again to service centre and this time I expect a better customer experience from your side with all my problems resolved.Your service centres have already wasted my 3 months warranty period and I dont think this should be repeated again.

    I think you are more responsible and sensible than your service centres and would respond me positively.

    This mail is my effort to get a positive response and i will mail it continually till i get my problem resolved.

    This is the service they provide to VAIO laptops of 1.2 lacs value... JUST IMAGINE!!!

    Also I would suggest everyone to buy LG or Samsung rather than SONY. LG's service is far better than SONY.

    Thumbs down Very poor response from the service centre of Sony- Indore

    I was a fan of SONY products. But today because of the poor responce from service centre of SONY-Indore (India), I am seriously thinking to shift the brand,

    My Sony TV is not working for last 20 days. I have lodge a complaint to SONY service centre-Indore ( Complint No. TF 34190211) more than 15 days back. But till now no one came to repair the set. Presently ICC world cup is going on and I am not able to watch these matches.

    Surprisingly in none of the SONY site I am able to find the customer redressal cell, to lodge my complint. Kindly help me to rectify my TV as early as possible.

    Default Bad response from sony india customer support centre

    Sir/madam,

    it's not a request but a complaint. i've lodged a complaint regarding my LCD tv repair
    at your helpline on 17th april'11. (complaint no. 7309754). on 18th april your executive
    visiited my house and his recommendaion was tat the power board had a problem and needed to
    be replaced. after tat he promised to call back on the same day with the estimates. but we
    got no response. after repeated calls(approx. six calls) i got an estimate of 6500/- odd.
    we confirmed immediately to one Mr. Janakiraman, asst. manager. he promised tat within 4
    working days the board will be replaced. i remained in contact with Mr. janakiraman and
    everytime he gave me a date. but still the tv is not repaired nor i've any response from
    your side. i called on 21st April'11 asking for confirmation of dispatch of the spare part.
    but there was no confirmation. even they gave me a false promise saying tat i'll get a call
    within an hour but i'm still waiting .... meanwhile i've kept in touch with mr. janakiraman.
    on 23 april'11 i recieved a call from a Mr.jaikumar, manager stating tat the spare part
    required has not been recieved by them. on the same day, i called up the customer care
    and spoke to one Mr. virat. he promised me tat the tv will be repaired on monday in the
    first hour but nothing has happened as yet. on 25th April;11 when contacted to the
    customer care, Mr. virat transferred my call to a Mr. kuldeep, some senior
    executive there. he promised me tat their special team is on their way and
    the tv would be repaired within an hour. but till now it's not done.......
    i want to know what i'm supposed to do now? should i go and file a petition
    in the consumer court? when you don't have a spare part why make false promises?
    why mislead the customer? even your executives at the customer care have no idea
    what's happening but are trained to make big promises but do nothing..........

    Thumbs down Issue_format laptop in Lucknow_Sony service center_Complete data er

    Dear Sony ,
    i have purchased the 2 sony vaio laptop ( i3 machine ) on dated 16.11.10 from Gwalior.Both machine is running vey well in last couple of months but immediately one of machine ( serial no.7001300 ) is created the problem.
    Machine is regularly shutdowm after the booting & given to sony service center for the repair in Lucknow ( Uttar Pradesh ).

    One of service excutive her name is seema attand the problem & found the there is a problem of DUST in fan so that they clear the dust from machine & running perfectly.but after while i checked the processing in not proper & same to be communicated to seema.
    Seema telling me that you format the machine & after that everything will be fine.I said ok but i have lots of data in mine machine so you only format the C drive only.she said OK sir , i will be format only the C drive , you copy all of data in other drive except C drive.

    After format the machine i was shocked that there is nothing in machine.Machine is as much as new like the time of purchase.
    now i am suffering from last 6 days because i was given the machine in Sony Service center on dated : 08.06.11 to till date no progress.still i am looking to the concerned but NO help given by them.

    One thing is very much strange & painful me that your concerned ( Seema & Aditya ) told me that no one in sony to recover you data better you will to contact to local vender they will be recover your complete data.i asked that you people from the company & related to same field better you try it. now they are said that we are not responsible for HDD data & you will be personally deal with it.

    SO MY QUESTION IS THAT IF THEY ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR HDD DATA THAN WHY THEY ARE READY TO TAKE THE MACHINE FOR FORMAT.I ALRAEDY TOLD THAT I HAVE LOTS OF PST.files , PDF , EXCEL IN OTHER DRIVE , TELL ME WHAT ICAN DO THAN SAID YOU WILL COPY YOUR DATA IN OTHER DRIVE EXCEPT C DRIVE.

    On saturday seema given the harddrive to me that recover the data from local vendor.i am trying & sitting last 2 days with local vendor for recover the data of mine.

    now tell me what the means to company service center ?
    Company dnt have good service engineer have good skill ?
    They know that the local vendor is much capable from them.......
    My machine is under warranty but still money loss & time loss ?
    No one from sony who having pain of custmer facing the problem just of you people ?

    In last 6 days i am lost my work , money , time as well as mental hasresment given by your organisation.Still my data is not recover & i am moving to local market.Rest of system in sony service center.
    if i am not good support from you than i will be free to take the action against of your organisation.
    Please take a letter of warning & waiting for your reply.

    Default defective model and dull service

    my name is ramanand dubey
    i am from india lives in gorakhpur in uttarpradesh. i bought a sony bravia lcd model no-klv-40bx400 of serial no.-2359921on 1-6-2011 form karan electronics.on the next day of my purchase i saw few defected pixels on the screen,I complained the retailer about it and ask for exchange but he denied and send me to your service center an engieneer visited to my home and my lcd is send for replacement on 18-6-2011 and i get new piece on 29-6-2011 of serial no=2379054.my job no is- HS101140411060700073.
    But the replaced piece is also defected while seeing dark seen there is a horizontal line of 5 inch width is visible at centre with vertical strips visible all over the screen which spoils the viewing experience.when i noticed it i logged a complain 7844816 but no one respond after that i logged two more complains 7865477,7865478 respectively after that the engeineer visited to my house and when i showed him the problem he was unable to understand what it is infact in my opinion the engieneers of sony in gorakhpur knows nothing about lcd .then he told me it is common in this model i replyed to him that these problem were not present in my earlier lcd then why its visible in this piece.for conformation i went to other sony store sony plaza, value plus retail store at suvidha complex and there i found no cloudin and horizontal bands.then i again logged a complain no. 7877096.but i am not getting any attension either from your service centre or any executive. i am very disappointed from my model klv-40bx400 and and sony's service policy in india i want my model to be replaced with kdl-40ex520 and i am ready to pay the differential ammount.if no one here me then i will go to the court.

    Default sony lcd problem

    respected sir,
    i purchased sony lcd tv model no :- klv-40bx400 on date-1-jun-2011 from karan electronics gorakhpur .
    i suffered from the problem of dead pixels on the second day of my puchase then i went to karan electronics and ask for my problem and requested for exchange.
    then karan electronics said that he would not deal with me and send me to the raj electronics sony authorised service centre. Then my new tv had been recieved on 18 jun 2011
    and i had collected a new replace ment on 29 jun 2011 but sir my problem is not been resolved and i am having few more problems from the replaced piece.

    sir the problem i face is :- white horizontal line of width 5 inch and vertical clouding all over the screen which is visible during dark scenes . which degrades the ppicture quality and the contrast ratio .


    i logged several complaints in sony service centre the complain no :- 7844816 but no one respond after that i logged two more complains no :- 7865477,7865478.
    then engeineer came to my house and told me this is common in all lcds of this model and now sony closed the manufacturing of this model. i told him that this problem was not present in my previous lcd . and i confirmed it form other sony stores.

    sir then i again logged a complain no :- 7887579 mentioning that i am not satisfied with this model and i want a replacement of supirior models and i am ready to pay the differential price. but sir i am not getting any response from sony india.

    Question Sony India Service center- Bad Experience

    I have registerd service request on 22-Jul-2011 for havinng issue with LCD Screen. Engineer visited my place on 25-July-2011 and he informed me that LCD screen needs to be replaced. As the product is under warrenty he will get it replced in 2-3 days. However I did not hear anything after 25-July-2011. I contacted customer care toll free number many times but got false promises every time. Considering SONY as a big multinational brand
    name I did not expect this kind of service issue.

    We had bought a Sony LED tv set on the 10th of July from Vijay Sales, Andheri W.

    The television stopped working about 20 days back. On calling the customer care, they sent a technician who said the panel was not working.

    Three days later he got a new panel and on replacing figured that the panel was actually not the problem.

    We mailed and asked the customer care that we didn’t want to get the tv set repaired but wanted a replacement.

    No response was sent to the effect.

    Post which, we asked for a new technician to come and check on the tv.

    It has been almost ten days now and even after calling the customer care centre every single day, no one has turned up to check the tv.

    This is not the kind of service expected from Sony.

    We are really disappointed, angry and distraught at the service provided (or in this case, service denied).

    Angry Very Poor Service by SONY Service Lucknow

    Dear Consumors,

    I am writing you with a great pain that I am very much hurt with very poor service provided by SONY INDIA for my VIO Laptop which I purchased recently in Lucknow (UP) India.

    I have given my Laptop SN 7000141 at Aditya Infosolutions in Lucknow, India on 15 Nov 2011 with Job No. WS101364211111500190.

    Till today, I could not get a satisfactory answer from Service centre that when should I get my laptop back after repair. I called service centre many times and customer care, and they are not able to register a complain as well. I talked to Service Head here in Lucknow, he says part will come from Singapore. I am afraid that I will be getting my laptop till next week as well.

    I am facing lot of problem due to poor service and careless nature of SONY SERVICE center. Please treat this as my complaint against SONY service centre and the kind of POOR service sony provides in India and kindly think twice before purchasing about service, as it's crucial and I spent 50k bucks on it.

    The height of problem is not only this, when I call service center every time the guy their will call me that he will let me know status by evening, and till date there is no evening coming for them for last 8 days.

    While fighting corruption in India this is also a big corruption with Multinational and Private companies, which should also come under the ambit of Jan Lokpal and companies should be properly punished for their negligence. This I feel is a big and important issue we should communicate to our government and standing committee members. I will be taking this at my level best to Anna and team and all other concerned about 'Corporate Corruption' in providing poor services.

    WE ARE USERS OF MANY SONY PRODUCTS BUT NOW THE BRAND HAS LOST ITS IMAGE IN THE MARKET DUE TO VERY VERY BAD SERVICES.
    our SONY TV 40", got defective first time on 24th october 2011, power was not getting ON, it was repaired and returned with service charges of 1500/=, then again on 11th November, same problem occurred , after repeated complaints no body came till one week, then they came , took the Tv on 19th nov. It was told to us that 4 IC's are defective , they will be changed and returned soon. Today it is 26th , again when I called today the spare parts were not available and they did not clear about how long more it will take them to repair ??

    even registered the complaint at------ SonyCare [Sonyindia.care@ap.sony.com], but even they are not bothered to look into the matter. They just sent one formality mail stating they will revert back after that no one even cares to reply back. we want our tv back and also the compensation for not being able to repair on time.

    Default Sony complaint

    I want to lodge a complaint against Krish Electronics, Goregaon, Mumbai-Sony Authorized Service center with respect to my complaint no. 8806037 regarding my Bravia EX710 46" LED TV (pixel defect).

    The engineer (Mr. Rakesh) saw the complaint on Nov 21,2011. I called them up and again (no call from the center) and there was no response and it was told to me that the case is worked on.

    On Nov 30, 2011 when i called to find out the executive from the center (Mr Ashish) told me that the case has been resolved as on Nov 22,2011 without any intimation to me and just like that, and when i had asked him and told him that his attitude/tone is derogatory and detrimental to Sony- India reputation he tole me to complain. I strongly recommend/urge to blacklist/ban this center from the Sony list of centers.
    I have also received a new complaint no. 8884501.Kindly respond back and inform.
