    Default SONY India : Un –satisfactory demo with untrained technicians.

    Dear All concerned ,

    I have purchased the Sony KLV-32EX400 Sony Bravia LCD on 4th August and have very bitter experience from their demo technician or after sales staff. Customer care centre simply raised their hands stating company has sold the product against payment but forget about their responsibility of provision of demonstration with features for further usage .

    Below is Grievance lodged with Sony India wihtout any response. Appreciate expeditious pursue of issue with Sony India.

    Subject : Grievance for Un –satisfactory demo with untrained technicians.

    Dear Sir /Madam ,

    I am writing this grievance with hope that should get some positive response and actions from management of Sony India.

    I am highlighting the gist of events as follows :

    1) Date of purchase of above referred LCD TV of sony make brand from Nayyar electronics pitampura with assurance that installation and demo will be conducted on same day of purchase.

    2) In spite of assurance no technician became present to carry out installation and demo.

    3) Only after repeated reminders and follow up and vigorous perusal a schedule for visit confirmed for 5th August at 11.00 am

    4) Two of technicians arrived at 11.30 am and just install and hang the LCD TV on wall and asking to sign the feed back form without any demo and showing specific features like interface with laptop and all .

    5) Due to visit with incomplete accessories to demonstrate the specific feature like connection with laptop by RGV or HDMI cable and demo laptop .

    6) As a customer I offered my laptops 2 different models and arrange cable by myself but the technicians could not able to install and demonstrate pc compatible features.

    7 ) From 11.30 am until 01.00 pm they were using hit and trial method with excuse like problem in your laptops and cables , even after changing two reputed laptops the guys could not able to tune the laptop with tv.

    8) Your both the representatives gave up and start contacting Punjabi bagh office to get assistance as they could not handle the technical issues.

    9) They keep on insisting to sign on the feedback form with note that installation done , I refused and asked them to get the specific features demo done today itself if not able to handle call other colleagues , they asked assistance from Punjabi bagh office and asked for some other person to visit.

    10) After waiting and sitting idle for another 1 and half hour two perons came which brought company laptop and cable and trying to check the interface with their own accessories with our TV.

    11 ) After long waiting for 4 hours they were able to demonstrate the special features of compatibility with laptop .

    12) I requested the last two guys to show and demonstrate with my laptops , they could just manage with little positive response .

    13) At the end very strange and unprofessional incidence happened , the guy agreed to take the RGB cable to use the laptop for time being as per my request and no charges .

    14) As soon as I had filled the feed back form and signed it they said , you have to pay for cable . I asked then ok yo u said use it without any problem and immediately after signing the feedback form you are changing the version . I agreed to pay considering small amount of cable , but the guy said it is his personal cable and not company’s cable and will not able to give any kind of receipt for payment .

    15) These technicians not even gave the copy of feed back form whereas I have experience that 2nd or 3rd copy meant for customer.

    It is surprised for me to pay the amount of cable even that too without any bill or invoice even it was agreed to use free of charge.
    From above events it s seems that the person’s who attended and visited were having only intention to get feedback form filled without looking into customer’s view points and satisfaction. Moreover such persons representing on and behalf of Sony India and selling products on their own without any receipts or invoice.

    I rejected & returned the cable due to no provision of receipt or invoice, it has been a very bitter experience after wasting 4-5 hours and dealing with technicians of Sony India.

    I am forced to state above incidence due to unsatisfactory performance and attitude of technician visited without any accessories and knowledge.

    Looking forward for your prompt and positive response with actions on above incidence if you require any further details please ask me .
