I bought a 26 inch Videocon LCD TV from Adishwar electronics Marthahalli, Bangalore on 25th of January 2009. On the very next day I found a red color spot on the screen which was a manufacturing defect. On that day I started calling Adishwar and Videocon. I have made at least a hundred calls by now and what I got is disappointment, harassment and waste of time.
Videocon service engineer came after a large number of calls and confirmed that it is a manufacturing defect and informed that the entire screen needs to be replaced. He told he would come in a week’s time and replace it. Nobody turned up after a week and I called them again many times and they again send a service man, after that no response.
Again I called their costumer care and they said the entire unit has to be replaced and Adishwar will do it. When I called Adishwar they said Videocon has to replace it and gave the mobile number of a Videocon executive. He said he would replace the TV in a week’s time and gave me a service engineers number to contact. Nothing happened after a week. Now I am calling all these people everyday and they say one or the other reason like No stock, vehicle is not available, driver is not available and blah, blah, blah. It is really frustrating and I have spent a lot of time and money on contacting them. Could you please help me with this? What can I do on this now?
I would be able to provide the mobile numbers of Adishwar exec, videocon exec and service man and my mobile bill statement is a proof for the number of calls I made.

One more thing. One month back somebody from Videocon corporate office had called me and told that they need the copy of the invoice for the replacement and they will send someone to collect it in a day. Nobody turned up after a week and I called up Videocon executive Mr. Siva and he told me that invoice is not required now and you can give it while they give the replacement. Now I got call from Adhiswar office saying I need to courier the invoice to get the replacement. Actually I am relocating from Bangalore to Kerala by this weekend. So any way they are not going to give me the replacement in this week. Is it possible for me to register complaint against this Siva for fooling me giving false information [he is not at all picking up the phone] and is it possible to give the complaint in any of the consumer court in Kerala after I move to Kerala? Will the location be a problem for me? Please help me.

LCD-VBL19SBG-FLA DT.01/03/09 purchase from sakshi distributor,jodhpur against 2 years
service warranty.
from Jodhpur service centre you representative have checked the tv & find the defaut in
tv tuner chip card he refue to repair & says to replace the whole card
the card is so costly to change, whether I want to know that Lcd tv is repairable or not
or whole spairs are only replacable

Dear Service Representative / Manager,
I have purchase Videocon LCD 3201 from Bafna Electronics, Nashik, Maharastra. in 18 June 2010 with Customer ID 13140481 named on Praveen Mdan Kulkarni.
We got problem in LCD in first 6 month ( Problem of Green & white Regulus Pixels not able to see picture sound is OK ) that time LCD is in warranty, they haven't change Main PCB, they have solder in some part and temporary they have rectified problem.
Now again same problem occurred since PCB last month we have logged complaint on 10/10/2011 with complaint no 79827109 ( customer ID 13140481) now for the same problem they are replacing PCB and asking for replacement cost of Rs 2250/-,
Why your representative haven't change/replace PCB in Warranty period, when problem occured in warrenty period and replacement should required in same period?
why you are doing such financial harassment of your customer?
Why PCB get corrupted in such less period ?
If you are taking such money frequently better way you & requesting you to take back your product, i will buy from some other brand.
