PROBLEM with Smasung 32" LCD 1.5 years old, PANEL REPAIR COST 25k Hi
I had purchased my 32" SAMSUNG LCD TV in May 2008 from Ace Technomark in Noida.MODEL: LA32R81B
But after just 1.5 years the screen is showing hazing wherever black color appears on the screen.
I registered complaint at Samsung consumer support, complaint no:8407349350
The technician told me the problem is with the panel and needed to be replaced which costs around 25k.
I got call from Samsung executive and was offered to replace by panel at 50% discounted price which is around 12k.
When I refused they told me to send a mail to support.india@samsung.com. I am waiting for the response of my mail.
I am still not able to find out the reason of the problem. The company claims that the panel would work for 60000 hours which by no means I have exceeded.
I also found out from other posts that many other who have purchased the LCD at the same time as mine are facing the same problem.
From all this all I am able to deduce is that it is some kind of manufacturing problem.
Samsung holds the moral responsibility of replacing my panel free of cost. I trusted Samsung to deliver good quality product but was let down with the performance of my LCD tv.

I am also one the victims of these television manufacturers.
(32" LCD panel gone in 14 months).
I have seen a lot of such complaints and I was about to post.
Just wanted to know, what is the outcome?
Did you get a free replacement (with new one)?
Did you get free repair (replacement of panel)?
Did you got the replacement done at very small price (if yes, how much)?
Please share your experience, it will help many people like me.

Another Horror Story I also bought a Samsung 32" LCD in 2007 and it just recently went out on me due to a bad panel. This is ridiculous!! I don't even have cable and barely turn on the television to watch an occasional movie. I have lost faith in Samsung products. They should issue a RECALL.

Problem with samsung 43" projection tv HI
I had purchased samsung 43" projection TV in March 1999 from U-like Electronics Pvt. Ltd. in New Delhi cost Rs 130000 Model no-SPM4388PF.
But from last one year the tv is going off and on automatically and sound is also not coming sometimes.I registered complaint at samsung consumer support many times but no reply - complaint no - 8405017590.On my last complaint in november 2009 the technician told me the problem is with the PCB but the part is not available in India and from last one month i am registring complaint again and again on same complaint no but no reply.
