I brought a LCD TV 15 months ago.

Last month my TV image was seen as high exposed pictures or negative kind of images. Service Request was locked on the same day. After a three weeks of follow up engineer came to have look at the product. He confirmed that panel is gone and same has to be replaced. He roughly told me the estimation which took me by surprise. He was informing that half the price of the TV. He also explained that this problem is same as the TV gone for a toss.
When I check the web for similar problem I see so many people have cribbed for same issue. There were no proper responses from Samsung for the same. A company of this size and calibre should concentrate on after sales too for their customers. People are spending the hard earn money, within a year or two if the panel in the LCD TV goes off then there is a serious issue with manufacture procedure of the products.
Because of bad design / manufacturing defects and poor quality products are floated in the markets by Samsung. I request the Samsung team to replace the panel at free cost and accepting this as defect in these models. This will help the company to maintain their standards and market share.
