I had bought a Samsung LCDTV LA32D580 in November. It got a dead spot on the screen within 4 months of purchase. I had registered the complaint with the customer care for the same, Complaint No. 8431207598 two months back. The engineer had visited my place and checked the LCD TV. He told me that the display panel needs to be replaced. I was shocked that how fast the display panel got affected of my new Samsung LCDTV. I had told the engineer that I won't accept any degradation in picture quality with the new display panel. After so many follow-ups with the service center, a month later (on 29th May) the engineer came with the part (Display panel) and replaced with the old one by opening my new Samsung LCD TV. There was no dead spot in new display panel but the day the panel got replaced with the new panel, I found the picture problem in the new display panel. The very next day I had registered the complaint again with the customer care about the new display panel issue. The new display panel has issues and day by day the LCD TV's back-light brightness getting lower and pictures becoming more blur.

I am having lots of trouble with Samsung service center. First the engineer came and told me that they will go for a refund since you had this issue twice in the same TV set. I was asked to submit a copy of my ID Proof and the invoice of my LCDTV which I did. I had called 20 times Samsung customer care to know about the status. They just tell me that they have sent the request to the concern department and they will call me with the update. After many follow-ups with the local Samsung service center (almost 3 weeks later), they told me that the refund got rejected as your LCD TV is proper according to them. It is completely wrong and fake. The LCD TV has picture problem and day by day the brightness (back-light) getting lower. I had sent an email about this issue to Samsung (support.india@samsung.com). On 7th July 2012 I got the reply from Samsung over email about the complaint that they had spoken to the service center and the request for refund is under process.

I called the local Samsung service center again and informed them about the latest update from Samsung which I received. They are saying that they don't have any latest info about the refund and I need to talk to Mr. Kamble. I had called so many times he picked up the phone only once and he told me that he will call me later as he is busy. He never called me again. Its really a very bad behavior.

It seriously is a pain when you spend so much on a TV only for the TV to go bust after few months and suffer such harassment at the hands of the Customer Service Center guys. I am really frustrated as TV picture getting worst day by day.

One expects a little bit of responsibility from a company like Samsung. I trust the company and that is the reason I had not only purchased the LCD TV but also Samsung Air Conditioner, Microwave Oven etc. I am posting my complaint here on the forum after being left with no option and one expects the customer care & the service center team to be a little bit more responsible in this age when all it takes is a post on Facebook/ Twitter/ Forums to taint the brand's image. If the issue doesn't get resolved pretty soon I would be left with no other option but post on every single forum of this experience.
