    Default Complaint Against Easy Cabs - Mumbai

    Dear Sir / Madam,
    I had booked a cab (EasyCabs) on 3rd June 2011, to travel from Lokhandwala Complex - Andheri West to Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Railway Station for 4th June 2011 at 8:30pm. While on the call, i was told that i would be getting the cab and the driver details 1 hour prior to the booking time via SMS. I got a confirmation message on 3rd June at 9:56pm regarding the same saying:
    "Dear Customer, Your EasyCabs Booking ID for 04Jun 20:30 is A060402921. Thank you for hoosing EasyCabs".
    On 4th June at around 7:45pm, i called up EasyCabs for the cab and the driver details and i was told that the SMS would be sent within 5 minutes and the booking was confirmed. Please note that the message was not sent.
    At 8:14pm, i received another SMS saying:
    "Dear Customer, due to a technical error, we are unable to service booking no. A060402921. Please ignore the car details sent. We deeply regret the inconvenience."
    On receiving this SMS, i again called up EasyCabs for confirmation. The customer service executive replied that they confirmed the booking on 3rd June 2011 as the cab was available then and cancelled the booking on 4th June 2011 as all the cabs were occupied at that time. This reply was ridiculous.
    There was a similar case faced by a friend of mine. Please address this issue ASAP so that the cab services are taught a lesson

    Dear Sir,Madam,

    I had booked EASY CAB on 26th august 2011,to travel to kalyan from bhandup for 27th August 2011 at 3.30 pm.I got a confirmation saying via sms " Dear Customer, Your EasyCabs Booking ID for 27th August 15:30 is A082700162. Thank you for choosing EasyCabs".

    We called easy cab to confirm the bookings and we were said that driver details would be sent but we did not receive anything.On 27th june at 3.15pm we received an sms " Dear Customer, due to a technical error, we are unable to service booking no. A082700162.I called up the customer service and the executive concerned Ms meena replied that no cars were available and they will be able to send another car at 1620.But again there was the same sms that due to technical error they cannot send the car.

    Inspite of booking the cars 24 hrs prior to departure,if they cant supply adequate cars I think they should stop their services as this is causing people torture of arranging last minute vehicals specially when old peoples are travelling.The executive concerned was rude and she said this is just an ID number and not the confirmation.If an ID number is given people are under the wrong impression bookings are confirmed and inspite of calling them 1 hour before the pick up and afer getting confirmtion from their side this is a very ugly scene,Where do we go for last moment cabs.Please teach them a lesson so that this practise of theirs does not become more frequent

    Thumbs down Easyy Cabs - Mumbai ... Service is ridiculous.

    Hi, I would like to highlight one the most ridiculous service we have ever faced of EASY CABS in MUMBAI.

    Booking ID:
    A111701458

    We had did our usual booking online 1 day prior. We did not get any SMS or email after the booking was done. We assumed everything was on track. I called up the call center at around 6 PM for reconfirmation of the booking and he told me that the booking was on track and we will get the SMS of chauffer details very soon. Till 6.50 PM we did not get any confirmation. I called up the call center once again and they shamefully have cancelled our booking for no reason and tells us there is technical issue in sending SMS of cancellation. They have no reason of why the booking is cancelled and we have not got any notification of the same. Had we not called up we had no way to know that the cab wouldn't come. Today we are stranded searching for a cab for our appropriate destination. Your service is just ridiculous and we want and investigation and a formal complaint in this matter.

    Please help to address this issue and if possible close such junk companies for their pathetic service.

    Dear Sir,
    I would like to complain regarding the pathetic experience I had with easycab. Today ( 27th Nov 2011 ), morning at 11:00am to book the easy cab from Central Mall, 9th Block Jayanagar to my residence in Electronic city @6:00pm ( knowing that being weekend it will be difficult to get the booking at that critical time of hour). I was asked to be on hold and then confirmed the booking ( It can very well be confirmed through my conversation with the easy cab customer service ). I was also informed that half an hour before I will be called up from the easy cab for the driver confirmation. Till 5:30 I had not got any call, so I called up around 5:35 to know the status. I was informed that within 2-3 minutes I should be getting the SMS. I waited and since till 6:04 again I called to know the status, I was informed that my booking was canceled due to unavailability of cab service. Neither I was called by easy cab nor did they SMS me in this regard. I had done hell lot of shopping in a view to understand that I will be able to carry all that on the cab. I was literally upside down, as had no way to get another cab that peak hour of time. It just pained my entire family and we had to take entire stuff ( heavily stuff of around 25-30 KG ) ourself and had to board onto auto to silk board and then by bus to electronic city and then by auto to my residence. It was very painful experience for all of us, including my child of 9 years.
    I need to seek leagal advice on this matter to make them understand their negligence. When I called up their customer support I was given straight forward answer that nothing can be done. Person handling the call was absolutely unapologistic and was not able to help me at all. Additionally when I asked him to pass the call to his manager I was informed that his manager is not available. I must say it was a pathetic experience and easycab must understand that they cannot cancel the booking at the last minute without informing customer.

    I had booked an easycab on 3rd May 2012 for dropping me to the airport. The pickup point was Santacruz west near Linking Road. I was given a booking id of A050300524. The driver's number and car number was provided 30 minutes prior to the requested pickup time of 6am. The driver did not bother to call me and check the address or ask for directions. I eventually called him and was told that he would arrive at my requested pickup point shortly. After about 20 minutes, there was no sign of him. I called him several times as I was getting delayed to catch my early morning flight. The driver did not bother to answer my calls. Eventually, I was forced to walk down to the nearest public rickshaw stand and take a rickshaw to the airport.

    This unreliable service of easycabs is most disappointing. How can one rely on such irresponsible drivers when an early morning or late night flight has to be taken? The driver should be fired for such careless attitude and giving customers the false assurance of pickup. The driver's number is 9920628042. Car number 2562. I hope appropriate action is taken against him even at the expense of me sounding harsh on him.

    Default CHEAPNESS of EASYCAB

    On 7th May 2012, I booked a easycab from domestic terminus santacruz to cincholibunder malad from airport prepaid counter with taxi no. as 2886 written on it.I had booked the cab around 8:55PM and waited till 9:30PM at airport fleet taxi area but the easycab with no. 2886 did not come. I made a call at 9:30PM to easycab customer care they gave a reply that "it will come in 5-10 min" . I waited till 9:50 PM but all vain the easycab did not come.Finaly,i had to take a taxi from outside and those outside taxi walas are scoundrel, they always charge Rs 200 more than what generaly comes in meter.

    Easycabs has simply harassed me without no reason.It seems that owner of easycab is bearing the cost of my life style in mumbai.
    EASYCABS is a sheer CHEAP.I want compensation of Rs 1000 for the harassment and delay caused by easy cabs.
    I pledge never to book easycab again.
