I have made a booking for a bus journey from Pune to Hyderabad on 28th may, 2010 with makemytrip.com va Sahara travels.
As mentioned on my ticket the boarding point is Hadapsar, and the boarding time is 1130 pm. We reached the boarding point at 1110 pm only to discover that our bus left the place at 1100 pm; and when we call the bus driver he replies in a rather careless fashion saying that he is 15km away. We had to take an auto rickshaw for 15km in the middle of the night under extreme difficult situations. We have medical issues to comply with and this travel agency puts us under such scrutiny. The auto rickshaw costs us an additional amount of Rs.300/- which we had to pay. Moreover, I would also like to bring to your notice that the driver and other managing staff are boarding random people without tickets and enabling their travel by making them sit at the meagre space available in between the seats.

This is the first time I am making a journey via bus and it was made out to be the worst. I plead for an explanation for the callous attitude exhibited by Sahara travels and the bus driver. Kindly consider this issue seriously and suggest me on the due course of action.

i have registered for coaching with a private coaching center in Chennai. i have paid rs. 8000 for the same,
but later on i came to know that the institute is not a good place to take coaching. i have not attended a single class there, can i get refund of the fees that i have paid?

Issue: I am logding complaint against Sahara as today they have told me to get down at pune station.

Actually while booking ticket I have seen dropping point (Aundh ,parihar chowk,pune as it is hyd to Mumbai bus).But these bus driver behavior is

Not well.

Before travelling/booking tickets they will behave very nicely saying they will drop at mentioned point but after journey they will no respond at all.

I traveled in Sahara bus to Chennai on 17th Oct 10, the experience was really pathetic .Here is list of complaints :

-- The passenger copy of the ticket was not handed over back to me.

-- No proper maintenance with regards to the seats, the seat allotted to me did not have the push-back facility ,so paying Rs 1340 for AC Volvo was a waste.

-- Water leaking across many points in the bus causing inconvenience to the helpless passengers.No proper response from the attenders .

-- The expected arrival time was 7am ,but we reached only at 2:30 at Koyembedu.Thanks to the drivers who were not well versed with the routes,only causing people miss their Monday morning routine.

End of day its was talk of passengers not to travel anymore by Sahara ...

Pathetic Experince with Sahara :

I have booked up and down tickets Mumbai -Hyd via redBus for sahara travels.
I traveled in Sahara bus to Hyderabad on 22nd DEC 10, the experience was really pathetic.So i cancelled my return ticket.But again they have created a problem for me.i cancelled my ticket on 25 th DEC ticket no:SBRS687285.but still i didn't get my refund back.the people who are working in sahara are very careless.i am calling those people for refund amount daily and my mobile bill is equal to refund amount.so my suggessition is., please dont prefersahara travels for your journey.

Never try to travel in this bus..its worst service that i ever traveled.

I traveled from banglore to hyderabad, it was the bad experience i ever had with a service.
The below are the problems i faced while travelling in this bus:
1) They will stop A/C and heat from the engine will come-in nobody cares and the people sitting back will feel like sufacation.
2) Dont ever try to go in the Last seat, As they will say its a Sofa seat and will charge you more for it.
3) Sofa seat means they will ask 6 people to adjust in that single long seat which is capable of 4...Max 5. If you ask Driver ..what is this...he will say getdown from the bus and collect the money from where you booked?
4) They will be arrogant..and they dont even bother about the customers.
5) In that single sofa seat each will be charged seperately....Like 1000, 1250, 1400 and soon as they wish at the same time.
6) I never thought i can experience this kind of service from any one after paying more.....

Finally dont ever try to travel in this bus
