Dear Sir/Madam

This is the incident happened on 24th May 2009. We had to shift one cot and computer table from Pimple saudagar area to Kothurud in Pune. We hired a good carrier similar to a three wheeler. He kept our belongings at the back(in cargo) and we asked him to tie the things with rope. He tied only the cot and not the computer table. We started moving and we encountered a speed breaker. While crossing speed breaker, the computer table fell from the vehicle. It broke to such an extent that it cant be used now. It made us so furious that even after asking him to tie it, he didnt bother to tie the table. The we asked him for the compensation which he completely denied and started blaming us that its our fault that we hired his vehicle. Things were not getting sorted out so we negotiated at the price of transport. Earlier we had fixed the price for Rs350 and now he agreed for Rs200. We thought atleast we are getting something and matter is getting sorted out. After moving some distance the guy stopped at a place where he had his union people and he refused to go any further. He said that he wont go any further. Again things were getting worse so we thought of not worsening the matter and asked the guy to send the stuff back and he even refused to do that also. We were stuck in the middle of the road and we had no where to go with all the stuff. For a moment we thought of calling the police for such an incident but due to very poor experience with police, we dropped that idea also. We hired some other vehicle somehow and reached the destination. We asked this new guy if we could complain some where about such an incident and he gave a phone number of a person. We called him that he was not ready to listen to anything. Finally we had a cursive feeling that we have been pissed off.

We got our table broken but could not do anything. We had to pay more and we could not do anything. We had to talk to the people so harshly and we could not do anything except our loss.

I am filing a complaint here as I got to know that most of the matters are sorted out here.

Hoping for the best.

Thanks
Rajiv
