Default My DEMAT account temporarily deactivated ICICI Direct

    Dear Sir,
    DEMAT account No. 8500521061
I am holding a DEMAT account with ICICI for over 5 years now at ICICI, Hiranandani
Branch, Powai, Mumbai. You will agree that ICICI does not open any account without
proper documents including PAN card and proof of resident. I am also having Priority
Account with ICICI Bank. These accounts were all opened after due process of
    verification and submission of documents.

I was told two years back that I need to resubmit my documents which I did. Again a
little over a year back I was told to resubmit my documents as they were not
traceable with the bank. I had submitted the same once again.

Again recently, I was told to resubmit the documents as they are lost. I represented
that this is not acceptable. ICICI cannot force me to submit documents due to Banks
    carelessness.

I have to incur expenses which needs to be reimbursed. Without addressing the issue,
my account has been deactivated. No one approached me. ICICI is always in the habit
of charging for any duplicate statements or services. I advised them that I too
need to be reimbursed for the charges. They have not reverted but have deactivated
my account which has share transactions on it.

It is my money which the bank is holding on my behalf and I am surprised how they
can suspend the account inspite of giving them documents more than twice.

Stern action should be taken against the Bank. I am loosing money due to the
careless and high handedness of the Bank.

I would request that ICICI Direct is made to behave them selves and to compensate me
for the loss of money, time, peace of mind. They should be advised to immediately
reactivate my account so that further losses can be avoided.

Please advise next course of action I should take for the above.
    .

    Yours sincerely,

Default ICICI Direct requires Reexecution of documents

My case is also identical to that of Mr D souza.
I think they are incompetent and customers have to suffer for their incompetence. I sent them two emaild but they did not reply.
