I have applied for Demat a/c & Sharekhan a/c through Sharekhan. I paid
5375/- for the same. Almost 2 months over. But they are not responding
properly and telling that they already sent and recieved somebody . My
Acknowledge no: 30315376. Sharkhan Executive name: Vijay, Bangalore .
Eventhough I talked to customer care , no answer from them. They are
telling that I have to pay again 5375/- then only they will give the
new a/c.
Pls note that SHAREKHAN is doing lot of fraud like this.

why don't U bring this to the notice of NSDL? I am also not sure in what way
they will be helpful to us.But then there must be some controlling agency to
check these sort of mal-practices. nsdl.co.in I am also experiencing some
problem with my brokers i.e. KOTAK SECURITIES.While opening the demat a/c in Feb
this yr.they charged the fee with an assurance to refund of Rs.350/.,after
opening the account.I had sent a numerous e-mails.They lodge the
complaint,promise to look into the matter.keep silent for a while and
automatically the mail vanishes.Its of no use.There is no use in believing these

Hi guys,

Sharekhan is one big fraud ppl in the INdustry .they really dont have a proper
support team and the USELESS staffs there knows nthing abt the work.I did have a
problem with sharekhan reagrding my uname and password which took month to be
solved....I was running behind them to differnt location to get it done .

Now jus waiting to shift it to any other service provider

This is not only with Sharekhan. Since I was quite new to the investment field,
I sought someones help.Accordingly Started a Dmat account with KOTAK. The person
attended was too good and done all the work neatly.But then the villain is their
Organisation.The staff opened the account, promissed me to recredit Rs.350/- on
starting the operation.Initially they charged me Rs.750/or so. Lots of E-mails
to their Customer support/HO did not fetch any results. It is like that. CAN
ANYONE SUGGEST ME WHICH DP providers are reasonable? I wanted to finish the
business with Kotak.

All such cases of namesake customer service setup irrespective which company or
service it pertains to, must be reported to the Ministry of Consumer Affairs,
Govt. of India, N Delhi. You can even complain to MRTP with proofs. These
companies which include good no. of banks, airlines, mobile and related service
providers, many govt. deptts. etc. etc. give bogus promises of good customer
services which is bad in law. One may get solution to the complaint and may not
but in the long run such complaints to the above Ministry is helpful. Exgerrated
advertisements or publicity also may reported since that is against the interest
of the consumers.

Lodge a complaint with NSE (ignse@... ) as well as NSDL
(relations@...). Both these Regulatory Bodies are very helpful. Send a
copy to SEBI (sebinro@...) which is a Govt. of India body. You can go to
their website sebi.gov.in where there is a provision to lodge complaint
online. They respond immediately with a complaint Number which you can follow.
NSE too has a website nse.co.in which has a provision to lodge complaints
online.
Sharekhan is known for these thing. Why should you get your shares
demat on Sharekhan at all? They are cheats and inefficient. Thousands of
coplaints are pending against them. Beware of them. Better get some good and
honest Stock broker.

I have joined in Sharekhan - Alwarpet branch. I am totally dissatified with your Agent name called Mr.M. Kamaleshkumar
his mobile number is 91-9940621448. He too belongs to your Alwarpet branch. He is placing orders without my knowledge and
playing a lot with my money?.He is not sending any updates regarding the trade which was played with my money.
Even If we called him he is not responding his phone and also if he takes the phone after a long try, he says he is in meeting and
putting off the phone. Do you guys have meetings during trading hours? This is rediculus. 0% help from you guys, no SMS, no Phone
calls nothing from you guys.He simply aims for his brokerage. Not for customer satisfication.

I have to change my agent. I dont want this person and I need some other experienced person.
Since he is from sales side he does not know anything technically about trading also doesnot have any analysising skills.
I'm not sure how you guys allowed him for real-time trading? Totally he is waste fellow.

Till now he never inform me regarding saturdays online trading class which you guys are conducting.
Without proper guidance we are not able to get the knowledge about scrip name and their values.
Kindly do the needful as soon as possible by changing the agent with immediate effect.
Already i have send many mails to feedbackshare@sharekhan.com all are in vain.

I must request you to improve your customer service as they do not care the customer.I have opened an account since one year.I found no body came to help me.I myself went to Share khan office and one Mr. Ajit Das assured me help me next day.But he didn't turn up.I again contacted Mr.Anand Agarwal andhe sent Mr.Ajit Dash,he couldn't load the trading site and asked my email address to send details within 20 minutes.But he is vanished.I contacte over phone but no response.I think this is the worst customer service I ever seen.phone no.of Mr/Ajit is+919853112512 & 9439011946.

I opened my demat account and you could say my biggest mistake in recent time. They have taken 6000/- rs and i didn't revecive my kit even after one month.

It seems they have tie up with blue dart people to cheat customer.

Be aware or must not go for account opening with sharekhan.

I spent my many hours and numerous call to get it solved by i am pretty sure that they are deliberatly doing this to cheat people.

I recommend NOT to go for sharekhan. They simply confuse customers while telling you about a scheme. I opted for a plan. What they tell now is completely different from what I was told when I opted for it. I will not get anything complaining on sharekhan but I do not want anyone to get cheated by sharekhan.

on date 10/05/11 ; i short sell 96 shares of SKS micro finance at the rate of 292.85 but same were not bought on same day ; there fore they gone for auction on date 12/05/11 and bought at the rate of 433.62 in auction which was really a high rate even the stock made of 361.35 high only on that day. moreover when i talked to NSE-India security they told me that average auction price was approximate 400 only. due to this i had a huge loss of Rs. 13600 approximate.
When i talked to sharekhan customer care executive on dates 12/05/11 and 13/05/11 ; they were not able to give me satisfactory response. they assured me to call me to give details but no reply came. i need my obligation report which have details of my purchase price in auction and satisfactory answer.
i am not satisfied with Sharekhan services and i need details of trade due to which i made huge loss.
