Dear Sir

This is with reference to my previous mail dated 11.08.2010. As per the appended mail, I would once again like to draw your attention towards my Demat account in HDFC Securities which I have recently opened. My Demat Acct No is 30868834.Also,I would like to mention that I have opened this account recently & at the time of opening of the account I was committed that I would be charged brokerage @5 paisa including taxes for intra day transactions. But, when I operated my account for the first time on 10.08.2010, I was charged at a much higher rate (around 30 paisa per transaction).I emailed my concerns immediately to the concerned officers at HDFC Securities, but despite repeated reminders, nobody has come to my rescue. I would like to ask who is responsible for the losses incurred by me as a result of blocking of my funds (due to change in brokerage rates).

Also, I was communicated the brokerage charges orally & still have not received the welcome kit for the Demat account. Even today i.e. on 12.08.2010, when I called Mr. Pawan Aggarwal, the Relationship Manager of my account and told him to buy 30 Mahindra & Mahindra shares, he told me “are yaar yeh kitna bekar share kharid rahe ho tum”.When I told him that it was my decision which shares to buy or not, he started misbehaving & put the phone on hold. Then, he told me that he was unable to find the suitable code for Mahindra & Mahindra. On hearing this, I put down the phone. He then neither called me back nor bothered to inform that whether he has purchased the securities or not.

Also, I would like to mention that trading time is from 9:00 am to 3:30 p.m.These people at hdfc Securities take around 20 minutes to pick up the phone. I would like to ask who will be responsible for the losses incurred by the customers due to the time difference caused due to not picking of the phone, as rates cannot be stopped by SEBI for some time.

You are requested to look into the matter seriously, & take corrective action so that in future I can get better service from your esteem organization, else I will be bound to take some coercive action against your branch officers for the willful negligence and defiency of service at your cost and consequences.

Warm Regards
Gaurav Kapoor
