last january i got call from sharekhan executive and he asked to open a trading account with sharekhan. i told him i wil thnk later and i wil lget back to you sonn. but he approach me several time and he convinced using his marketting ability. then he said if you paid 2000Rs there is no brokarge charges up to 2000. so you wil get more benifit compare than other brokers . i beleived him and i paid the amount thru check. Also i told him please send keep all communication to my current residential address in kerela. he agreed for that. then after 4 month i didnot get any response from them.then i called customer care and asked them they said already we send the welcome kit and related documents to my old address and return back to them.then i sent lot of mail to them and i asked them to close my my account and return back the 2000 rs. but now they are saying we cant give back the amount if you need you can close the account.so please let me know is there any possibilty to get the amont back as per legal.

i have an account at sharekhan office patna they just do trading in my account without any information and that guy is so rude that after making 40000 loss not listening anything plssssssssss help

I am a small trader, trading with Sharekhan Limited with client id 583197. I would like to bring into your notice that Sharekhan has problem with its website and I faced it quiet frequently in last 6 months but on last trading day it made me to suffer a loss.

On 11th Feb 2010 I faced a loss due to their technical snag in their website.

On that day I sold 65 shares of RENUKA SUGAR in NSE which I was holding and was about to square-off the trade at 3:05 pm.

But from 3:05 pm - 3:30 pm I was unable to log into their website and it was giving me error like "Your request cannot be processed now ,please try after some time", and I kept on trying till the end, and finally the market closed and I suffered a loss of around Rs.3700.

I tried to square-off the trade over phone also, but could not reach them and was put on hold for a long time. This is the worst service of Sharekhan and I bet if anyone can get hold of customer care executives during the trading hours and not even on Saturdays also.

I am not a big trader and have not seen the amount of profit in last 6 months of my trading life that I lost on that day.

This was not my fault and the loss I faced was entirely due to the technical failure of their. I wrote number of mails to them after that and got no reply so far.

I would not recommend anyone to go for Sharekhan.

Please trust me, you can have your worst lifetime experience here in just few months

My name is raghuraman. Last week open eq & com a/c.but your office people no phone,no guidelines. What can i do?

Sharekhan the Cheater company when i want to open a trading account i just fill simple enquiry form on ntheir website and he gates in to boared me wth calling me nearly about 30 to 50 times and after that he takes 5000 rpis from me provides userneme and pass but its wrong then from 5 to 6 months i called him but he did not get any responce and after that i dicision to closed that account he dosent give me proper infprmation not reciving my calls please tell me what to do please help me he trying to chat me for 5000 rupis i think so... please help me my email id is shradhagaikwad4u@gmail.com

Sharekhan has opned the company for its own benefit...they really dont care if a customer is getting profits or not...all they would look for is charging higher brokrage,higher taxes on each trade you do,they say that we can get advises but they appoint people who has no knowledge about trading.

Consumer court has to take serious action against sharekhan...they made a loss of 40k with my trading account with them. they say we can get tips from their sms but i have experienced their sms give you more loss, as a customer with an account with share khan you make loss or profit they still are in good profit because of the huge brokerage charges of buying n selling.

Companies like this should be taken over by governement as the rules and regulations will be followed in right way with out cheating customers.

Kindly help people from such fraud companies.

My father (ASHWINI MISHRA) has opened an account in SHARE KHAN his client id is 1397683 and branch id is 325.
He opened account in Udhampur where franchise id is 1292 this franchise is under Mehta stocks and shares pvt limited.
This franchise is at near Rto office udhampur.It is run by Afzal Khan he opened account of my father and took rs 20000.
My father was not aware of any transactions and he did all transactions himself.
Without notifying my father he traded with all money and nothing if left in fathers account now.
He is cheater and should be punished with your management.
I request from the management of share khan to reject the licesence of AFZAL KHAN and return back money of
my father in his BANK Account otherwise i will move this case to consumer forum.
where share khan has to answer this way of trading .How AFZAL can trade without my fathers permission.
We want our money back from share khan and punish AFZAL KHAN For this kind of act.

I opened one a/c with my wife name in sharekhan. Trading a/c and DP was opend with her old sir name but after marriage I changed the sir name everywhere and also in sharekhan as well. some days back I had some loss in her a/c so I have given the cheque to clear debit but they said that it can not be cleared as there is a mismatch in a/c.

They have sold out my share although I have given them cheque. Can you please register my complaint against them and take action.

I opened my trading/demat account with Sharekhan:
My observation is:
1. No communication is send across via by any mode on transaction/charges happening on your account.
2. Never was able to trade thr online: Internet (My preferred mode). Support executive kept on giving new password, which never worked even once in last 6 years. They always blamed it saying some technical upgrade issue. Not sure 6 years technical upgrade?
3. They hold power of attroney on your share. Without informing me, they kept moving my scirpt to DP marin and selling them. Even though some of them was getting traded at 52 week low. Motive: Profit at all cost. Even meant loss to customer
4. There is huge difference in policy and procedure. What Mumbai HO says and Branch office tells.


Due to this and other reason. I decided to close the account and transfer to another account
I visited bangalore office and submitted all outstanding amount and Client master list of my other Demat account with closure form.
Mumbai HO is saying to resubmit the form. The process is not completed correctly. And Im been told to resubmit the application agian.

For me its just few thousand loss.
Never experiment with your luck.

I want to lodge a complaint against Sharekhan.
But, before lodging my complaint i want to know if any serious action will be taken regarding customers complaint or it is a matter of wasting our time.

But..i have to suggest that please beware n not to believe sharekhan otherwise ready to pay.

I just want to say that sharekhan is a big big big actuly biggest fraud company one could ever seen.

So its a warning to all who have an account with sharekhan or who wish to open an account with it.Kindly withdraw all money and not to open any account otherwise one day you will be bankrupted.
This is my personel experience.

Sharekhan-Kolhapur team did many trade from my account without my knowledge and permission, due to this I get huge loss in lakhs and when I bring my complain in front of Mr. Vinod (Branch Manager - Sharekhan Kolhapur) he assured me to resolve the issue after his boss at HO, but he didn't gave me single reply of my many mails / sms / call since 2 to 3 years.

the employees of sharekhan,vadodara has made intraday transactions in my account without my consent or knowledge and made huge loss. During the time of discussion about this matter, they have promised me to recover this amount and will credit in my sharekhan account. Last 1 year they are promising me but nothing has done. now, they are saying that the transaction was done with my consent and they send the cheques of Rs. 898.00 & Rs. 4306.00 of citi bank. I request you kindly sort out my problem and prove the facts
