A HCL Rep. called me up today (around 5 mins ago).
He intimated me with the current scenario - the device had encountered an issue with the HW/SW features and are in way for an up gradation!!

He told me that it will be available in stores on 18th May'12 and then the shipping would begin & I am supposed to receive it after 5-7 business days...

Lets see...

I now honestly regret for applying in HCL services...and I should have gone for other manufactures, probably Apple

First I purchased sun glass from BAGITTODAY threw Internet. Afterthat lot of people called me to buy their products. I purchased some of them.One fine day one of them told me that,” I won prize money of Rs. 10 lakhs” for thatI have to make some purchases. When I was making purchases they are promotingme step by step. In each Transaction I purchased two sets of products eachproduct cost Rs. 18999/- (Total Rs. 37998/- per one Transaction). Each productcontains one BLACKBERRY PEARL 8100 and two sets of ANAIRA (OR) ZIA SOL. D PACK30 CENTS DIMONDS. When I asked them “How can I believe whether those are realor not?” For that question they told me “we are sending a certificate which isprovided by Govt. Organization. But they didn’t send it, when I enquired thatthey simply told me it was a mistake of packing person and promised me toprovide later, but they didn’t. Finally they provided a User ID and Passwordand they told me to use them at the time of taking prize, and also told me toattend anniversary function for that they are going to send me flight tickets.But they didn’t send me till now. After some time when I enquired about that atcustomer care, they told me that type of activities were not happened in theirorganization and told me I had mistaken. From that day I was canceling orders whichwere not delivered to me.

I made thosepurchases thru Citi bank credit card (Authentication No 347318, Reference id is75140681112 and Thair Order No is8805454659R)at 10:55 and ICICI Credit card (Authentication No:779360, Reference id is75140681114062665792340 and thair Order No is 880154782U) at12:03pm by phone. After that I cancelled those purchases by phone. One of themhas been refunded to me. And another one has not refunded till now. Their peoplesaid that within 21 days I will receive my money, but I have not received yet. Afterthat they are saying that order was sent to somebody else (vijay fromMaharastra). I paid money for two products at a time, and canceled at a time.How can they send one to somebody else and another in cancel mode, and how isit possible? Sir I am paying 3.5% interest to credit cards. Kindly consider myproblem and kindly solve it as early as possible, because I am paying too much interestto credit cards. I have made lot of conversations threw email and phone, butfrom December-12 they are not responding to me.

I bought an HCL Me U1 tablet 3 days ago. The product was more or less OK. But today I find that it is not switching on.

I think HCL is the worst company ever
They have provided me with U1 tablet but the thing is it is nt gettin ON
software problems
and Customer Service is off on SUNDAYs

my tablets wi fi is otomatic switch off and on like 30 ime

well,,, i should say that to have a tab in 7000/- is good,,, but if its android and the play store is not working then its useless, more or less its like a mitashi playboy, which allows you to watch videos listen music and all other features as hcl,,,,,,, and atleast they dont promise something and give something else,,,, i will never trust HCL,,,, no good customer support as well,,, only good sales team,,,, pathetic device,,,, is an HCL agent is reading this then here is my email and would like your revert...
