I worked in a software company where i have paid Rs.1 lakh as a security deposit in which he returned me Rs.82,500 in monthly installments for a period of 1 year.The Remaining Amount Rs.17,500 he has given me cheque which got bounced and now when i went and asked him he didn't reply.
I even collected Memo from the bank.Now my doubt is whether can i proceed in consumer court,if yes how much time will it take the case to get solved and one more thing can i put on case on the person who signed the cheque or should i put on it on the directors of the company. plz let me know the procedure to do so.

Before you taking any step againest the company directors or a person who signed check,you should be first contact face to face or by phone,if they no response,then you have to go via press media,if then also they will not response,go and give complint at Police station,police will take charge againest those people.

i was working for an IT company. they have not given me my salary for two months Nov2009 and Dec 2009. they are giving me all kind of excuses. also they gave me a check of rs 10,000 which also got returned due to mismatch of signature. i contacted them but got no healthy response they try to make fool out of me indirectly they are telling me we will not give you money. My wife is a M.D. Pathologist doctor ,she was worked in a private pathology laboratory where she have paid Rs.75,000 as her sallary.The cheque Amount of Rs.75,000 which was given to my wife got bounced twice in two weeks of period and now when i went and asked him he didn't reply.

My name is Poonam Varma , Goregaon East, Mumbai - 400063. I am writing this email to inform you about a serious fraud happened to me.

On 17th December 2009 I have joined Recruitment Consultancy on a post of Senior HR Recruiter with a salary of 13,000/- per month and which I was supposed to get on the 15th of every month as per company policy. After completing December month I havent got the salary on 15th Jan 2010 as they told me that I will get my salary on 18th Jan 2010 in cash which I havent got. Since from that day my parents started shouting on me regarding the salary as well as the timings, regarding this issue I have informed him that I wouldnt able to continue with them. I havent gone to office on 19th Jan 2010 as Pulak Das (Head Sales & Marketing) called me up and said that your salary would be clear come to office from 20th Jan 2010 onwards. So i went to office and he told me that you will get salary on 22nd Jan 2010 in cash and on 22nd Jan 2010 he gave me Rs.300 as a Salary and told me that I will give you salary on 25th Jan 2010 so I again trusted him and went to office. On 25th he gave me 2 cheques one was Bearer (rs.7000) and the other was account payee (7000) dated 25th Jan 2010. I deposited the Bearer in Saraswat Bank, Burve Nagar, and the the Bank Manager told me to call the cheque owner as there was some problem. Me and the Branch Manager both waited in the bank but the owner didnt came into the branch atlast Mr. Head Sales and Marketing told me that there is no balance in the account and deposit the cheque on 27th Jan 2010.

On 27th Jan 2010 I went to the Saraswat bank Goregaon East Branch and deposited the cheque again and the Branch Manager of Goregaon East also told me to call the Owner of the cheque as their was some issue and the Branch Manager called him and verified about the cheque, where he refuse to make the payment but i shouted at the owner and given warning of police from the branch and then he passed the cheque of rs. 7000/- and then i deposited the another cheque which was account payee on the same day which got bounced on 30th Jan 2010.

I had given him warning that if I havent got my salary I would take him to the police and as on 30th Jan 2010 his cheque got bounced and he called me up and was asking his reliance sim card and I told him to clear the cheque on behalf of his Sim Card but he started giving me (dhamki) that he will file case against me that I had leaked his company information to other recruitment Consultancy which is not the point. Now he is mentally torturing me that you cant do anything, I will sue you. I am very much afraid now.

Also from 28th Jan 2010 I have joined other recruitment Consultancy so I dont want to lose this job now so please take a very strict action against this man (Head Sales and Marketing Boy as well as Company) as I havent got my rest of the payment.

Today I have contact them to remaind about my trip on 05/FEB/2010 and they are cheating me that I need to pay 480 again for my trip.

hi,
i have the cheque which got bounced back in Nov 2008 for 2,68,000 when i asked about the same he said will give the same in months time now its more than a year, he is not answering my calls.

i have the cheque & the bank slip which says No fund. can i book the case against him he is in Chennai i had been to see him but he is not around in cheenai.

i came to know that he is planning to open an office in Bangalore, can i file a case againt him.

i am working with a insurance company as a operation executive. doing all the activities as branch service group from file receiving to issuance and also doing payment recons for cheques cases or cash cases..

I just wana confirm how can i decrease cheque bouncing..

I need to be know..
1-how much scrabling is accetable on cheque?
2-can we claim against the customer if his cheque bounce?
3-if branch details is not mentioned on cheque so can accept the same or not?
4-if sppeling mistake is available on cheque so can we accept or not?

dear sir,

I worked in a software company, before resign they refund my bond as posted date cheque(PDC). but when the date came, they call me and said dont't sumit cheque, it will bounce, when i call them they tell me that we will submit the amount in your account.
what will i do? whether i deposit the cheque or wait for their responce or take legal action against them. please suggest me waht i will do?

I was working for a company named D.N Infotech in mumbai owned by Mr.Unnat Marwah in Dehradhun.
We were 7 people working for him.as our salary dated(1st oct 2011)he couriered us the cheques.all with errors.
when spoke to him about the errors he assured us that the cheques will get clear.but all of the cheques are returned for some or the other reasons.
Now he is not ready to pay us.please guide me on the above problem..have all the proof against him in writing in the form of messages and emails.
