Sub:Not Repair/Replacement of defective Note-Book"Acer Aspire, Model No-5738, Serial No. LXPAK0C001918274F42000 under Warrenty Period"
Sir,
1) With due respect and regard, I want to bring the following few facts for your kind consideration please.
2) I purchased a laptop mentioned in sub. from "Triffin Technologies", Nehru Place, New Delhi on 15 Jul 2009.( Scanned copy of invoice enclosed)
3) Since from the day of purchase the Graphic Card and Web Camera of the said note-book was defective.
4) I immidiately make contact Mr. Kundan Singh( Asst.Sales Manager) Triffin Tech.He asked me to contact the acer service centre located in Lajpat Nagar.I rushed to the service centre and lodge complaint No."102109-404" on 21st Oct 2009. SWince then I visited the sevice center on regular basis, but the personnel (Pawan)deployed in the acer service centre, misbihaved with me. Neither they have ractified the complaint norreplaced the note-book.As per Pawan Thakur(Acer Service Center) statement their all note- books of the same model of ACER are defective."Why you have purchased this model". It is really very astonoshing.How such a big company like Acer ignors his customer. The Cost of the note-book is very high. They must entertain the customer in a decent manner.
5) I have make contact on 01. Dec 2009 to Acer Head office, Bangaluru.They have given me Acer delhi region brach office tel. no-011-30862712 and advice to talk to the Mr. Dev Acharya, Delhi branch Customer Care Manager.He make tele-conferencing with Mr. Pawan Thakur Service Centre Enginner, K-42, Lajpat Nagar.Mr. Pawan Thakur call me with the Acer Note-book then I have also lodge my complaint in the call center of Acer again, "Case ID No.120309-297 on 03 Dec 2009 at 1552 p.m".They directed me to K-42, Lajpat Nagar-II, New Delhi.Tel No: 011-29840593.Then I again went to the same Acer service center.Then he check defects in the Laptop and advice me to go to vender "Triffin Technologies" they will replace it, But the vender refuse to exchange. The Center kept my laptop with complaint for a day. They return the laptop after more than 7 hrs without repair and also furnish a certificate that the ACER Laptop Model No. Aspire 5738, is ok.
6) I am totally harassed, mentally as well as monetary loss of Rs.38,884.00.
In view of the above, I request you to interfare and help me in replace mu notebook immidiately with compensation. I am a graduate student and pursuing diploma in computer application from Info. Tech. Because of my training and education it was must for me to purchase a laptop.So that I can make practice on my computer anywhere. But it is really unfair on part of Acer Company.
