I booked my etickets for the below journey for 25/12/12011. The train was late more than 7 hours so we did not board the train. The very next day i.e. 26/12/2011 I filed a TDR for refund & was in constant touch with the IRCTC customer service & everytime i was assured that the refund will take place after 90 days. To my shock I got the mail after 100 days saying case repudiated the reason being : 3863-SER/7 Refund was not claimed within prescribed time. This is an invalid reason. As according to Indian Railways rules a TDR file can be done 30 days of the date of journey & I filed the same very next day.
