I have booked tatkal E-ticket with the following PNR Number: 4539106615 on 26-02-2011 for travelling from Bangalore to Hyderabad by Rajadani on 28-02-2011.On the schedule date of travel Rajadani Express was postponed to 29-02-2011 @ 7:00am. As i was supposed to travel urgently to Hyderabad I have canceled my e ticket online on the same day i.e., on 28-02-2011 and also filed TDR on 28-02-2011 .My Reference number is: ekt2011022802203756.Now I see that my refund status is not approved .

As per the rules cited below I am eligible for full refund of my money:

• In case train is cancelled by the Rlys due to accidents, breaches or floods, Bandh or Rail Roko agitation etc- full refund of the fare of entire booked journey will be granted .On line cancellation can be done up to 72 hrs.
• In case train is running late more than 3 hrs- full fare will be refunded

The following reason which was given by Railways is vierd : “783-NR/68 Ticket was not surrendered within 12 hrs after the departure of the train & No Refund is admissible on Confirm Ticket issued in Tatkal Seva. The case is repudiated”.

My question is even after cancellation of my e ticket and filling of TDR on 28-02-2011.How can u term that ticket was not surrendered. Kindly look into this issues and see that I get back my refund amount the earliest. Pls find attached copy of ticket along with filled TDR date and remarks .Kindly do the needful
