Filed TDR No revert from IRCTC more than 90days Hello,
I had booked a train ticket through the irctc.co.in to travel from Khandwa (CR) to Mumbai CSTM (CR) by train no 01048. On the travel date I realized that the train is running late by 6hrs and 35 minutes. As per the railway rules if the train is delayed for more that 3 hrs we can get a refund off the full fare. As i was not able to cancel the ticket because the Chart was prepared I was told by the IRCTC customer care people that i need to fill a TDR form online, and i will get the money in your bank a/c in the next 90days. I did that on 28-10-2011...
Still the money is not credit in my a/c it's more than 90days now and also i am not able to call on any customer care nos. mentioned on the irctc.co.in website.
the delhi no is not valid and the chennai no. is busy 24-7...
Kindly chk and provide the revert asap...

As i'm raising this complaint against the irctc.co.in i think this is not reliable any more and if they get a competition in the market they can improve. Means if govt. hires one more website similar to irctc.co.in, the things will be better. What say people? Post your comments.

I was about to travel fron gwalior to trivandrum by kerala express on 23/sep/2011; due to telangana problem the train was diverted and didnt passed through gwalior. I filed a TDR the same hour; (Transaction ID: 0381475110 PNR Number: 2653602576) followed by four remainders; still no response from IRCTC. Its better to wait till our retirement for refund. We should not expect the railway people to work effecently. So better to forget money. Gud luck

As per the railway rules if the train is delayed for more that 3 hrs we can get a refund off the full fare. As i was not able to cancel the ticket because the Chart was prepared I was told by the IRCTC customer care people that i need to fill a TDR form online, and i will get the money in your bank a/c in the next 90days. I did that on 22-04-2012...
