Dear Sir/Madam,

With deep sorrow, i m writing this complaint. Pls find the description mentioned below.

I, Mithun Thakur was travelling with my wife and daughter from Howrah to Chennai by train no 12841 (Coromondal Super fast) on 8-Oct-11 in AC-2Tier.

The ticket PNR no- 6458109595. Coach No- A2 (43 & 45). both were lower births (as those were RAC and later confirmed)

We exchanged one of our lower birth with co-passengers as elder person was travelling. I was sleeping at birth no 44 and my wife was sleeping at birth no 43(lower) with my daughter. She kept her hand bag near to her head. Morning 6am on 9-Oct-11, we found the bag was missing. The bag was consisting a sony mobile, 2 silver spoons, 2 gold earrings (later confirmed), some normal ornaments, Rs 300-Rs 500 cash amount and 2 mobile chargers. we probably crossed Vizag and heading towards Rajahmundry. we found all over the place and later filed complaint with the on-board TT. As per his advise, i called Security controller to inform about the incident and also enquired about any security persnal boarded in the train. But, it was shocking to know, that there was no Railway Protection Force available that time in the train.

I also reported the same in the Rajahmundry railway station and police personel took complaint but did not give any copy of it.

Till now, i have not received any information about it.

Therefore, i request consumer court to take necessary action on this issue.
