    Dear Sir/Madam

    I have booked an e- ticket on IRCTC onlime for the date of journey of 01- Dec-2008
    bearing a PNR no: 4402459857, booked on my wife's name (Mrs. M.LAKSHMI) for the
    journey from Bangalore to Visakhapatnam (3rd A.C.). Actually I made a mistake while
    booking the ticket, the ticket I'm supposed to book from Visakhapatnam to Bangalore,
    and I mistakenly book the ticket from Bangalore to Visakhapatnam. When she boarded
    the trian at visakhapatnam on 1 dec-2008, she came to know that the ticket is booked
    wrongly and she bought a new ticket from Visakhapatnam to Bangalore.
    Then she called me up and told me the problem, I then immediately filed the TDR on 2
    Dec-2008. After so much of follow up the IRCTC personnel are telling me that the
    passenger is travelled from Bangalore to Visakhapatnam vide their records 086-ECoR/2
    As per records Passenger(s) travelled on the ticket. and saying the case is
    repudiated.
    So I want to appeal in the consumer court, how can a person perform travelling on
    the same date in two opposite directions. unfortunately I din't keep the ticket wher
    she took the journey from Visakhaptnam to Bangalore. And it's not a big deal for
    IRCTC to know whether the passenger travelled from visakhapatnam to Bangalore.
    So I request you to kindly help me in this issue.

    Default IRCTC Charges

    I hv done e-reservation fm irctc agent. He takes Rs.420 instead of Rs.396. When
    asked he tels that it is irctc charge

    This is with reference to my experience no. of times while traveling thro' trains across India. I am not sure if the perception I am deriving is only possibility. But I really doubt that so many of cancellations (any train in any segment) can really happend. please loook into this mater.

    Default Indian Railway, IRCTC Online Complaint

    I had booked goods from siliguri junction to delhi.the goods were booked on 29/3/09.the slr number is 13719 and the booking number is d219148.the goods have not reached yet.the value of the goods is around 43000/.i had sent my person many times to the station to enquire but they say that the goods were sent by 4083dn mahananda express.last time when we went to the station where the goods were booked one gentleman told us not to irritate and to go to the police station and file a fir.can you really help us. Thanks mundra
    the goods are worth 43000/.i will loose all the money.the goods were school bags.
    I want the stocks to reach delhi to the concerned party or me.if it reaches me then i will send to the party by transport.

    Default Railway Agent

    Hi

    I am Rahul Bhattacharya,

    I have booked a ticket through Railway Agent, when I am going to cancel
    this ticket before 32 hours from departure the train, agent told me I am not
    able to cancel your ticket due to my ID has blocked, he also told me after
    24 hour of leaving the train I will file the TDR and after 90 days you will
    get your money 1/4.

    So, I want to make a case against this railway agent and I want to take my
    total amount of ticket plus RS. 50000 for the mistake of their side.

    Default Irctc railway department

    Good Afternoon Sir

    We have problem from railway Irctc Department, I register a Subh Yatra Card from
    Irctc.

    There is 2 time payment deducted in my back account, Example 562+562, only 562
    payment are going in Irctc, but thid problem are created, the plz help me what
    should i do, i am already three time mail, but there is not any responce, so plz
    give me any solution.

    Default IRCTC agent

    Respected Sir, I Subhash Shah an IRCTC agent from Pune have
    a complaint against IRCTC i.e. Irctc purposefully makes the server down
    during 8 Am in the morning so that agents cannot book the TATKAL or OPENING
    DAY tickets for customers. If its an technical problem then why does it
    doesnt try to solve it, why every time in the peak times it shows " SERVICE
    UNAVAILABLE" not I but every IRCTC agent has a same complaint against IRCTC.
    And every month IRCTC is increasing its agents base by thousands of agents
    per months. And still it doesnt try to improve the service for them.

    Default Cheating by IRCTC

    I have booked ticket through IRCTC ( Paid service provider for Internet Ticket booking ) for 6 passengers from Jalandhar Cantt. To New Delhi with Date of Journey
    27/12/2010 and got waiting list. Train was scheduled to run from Jummu at 11.15 hrs.

    On 26/12/2010 Train Chart was prepared and I got 5 Confirmed Ticket and One RAC Ticket.However we don’t want to travel
    And informed through email and phone to IRCTC at 17.15 hrs. i.e. 16 hrs. in advance to our booking official .
    However they instated to File TDR .(TDR is a procedure filed after departure of train when reserved passenger could not perform the journey).
    By asking this they considered my request done 16 hrs. from the departure of train equivalent to information provided after the departure of train.
    This has resulted to my financial loss . inconvenience and other Monetary losses on emails, telephones etc. on filing complaints etc.

    It may be noted that there is no provision to cancel Tickets as and when chart is prepared in available with IRCTC who is Providing service to thousands of users in a day. Whereas it is mandatory for the IRCTC to handle such issues either through Web Site or any other telephonic system.
