Respected Sir,
On dtd. 19.04.2009, me and my family was traveling from Mahananda Exp. from New Jalpaiguri to Delhi in S2 - 11,12,14,15 & 16 no. bearths (vide PNR no. - 6424479355). On 20.04.2009 morning there was no water in the coach including most of the sleeper coachs. Continuous asking for water from TTE in sleeper coaches was in vain. So, I made a written complain through the train conductor (vide Book no. - 004, sl. no. NIL, signature with mob. nos. of 3 nos. passengers as "witness" are there in the complain also) to fill the water in the coaches. But we reached Delhi in evening (train was also delayed) by purchase of Bislery water to fulfill our requirements of water for toilets and all.
I with my family was faced a hard time by that travel, the suitable compensation to me shall be demanded through the Indian Railway for the following reasons:
1. Delay in arrival time of Train to Delhi station.
2. At least some type of water must be provided by the Railways for toilet purpose.
3. No Tap of water were found in most of the coaches (sleeper).
4. Misbehaved by Mr. S. N. Srivastava, Chief Commercial Controller over telephone said that "such type of written complain were done on regular basis but having no impacts".
etc.
The shouting compensation is as follows:
1. Return the ticket fares of all the passengers who were traveling in sleeper coaches such as S1, S2, S3 etc.
2. A lump sum money Rs. 200000.00 (two lakhs only) as compensation to me for purchased Bislery water in toiletry use, made frequent phone calls to the chief Comm Controller by me and TTEs also & Mental harassment to me and my family.
Expecting your early response in this regard. However original train ticket, written complain is kept with me for producing in due course if required.
