    Default Complain against Indian Railway due to No water for toiletry in Mahananda Exp.

    Respected Sir,
    On dtd. 19.04.2009, me and my family was traveling from Mahananda Exp. from New Jalpaiguri to Delhi in S2 - 11,12,14,15 & 16 no. bearths (vide PNR no. - 6424479355). On 20.04.2009 morning there was no water in the coach including most of the sleeper coachs. Continuous asking for water from TTE in sleeper coaches was in vain. So, I made a written complain through the train conductor (vide Book no. - 004, sl. no. NIL, signature with mob. nos. of 3 nos. passengers as "witness" are there in the complain also) to fill the water in the coaches. But we reached Delhi in evening (train was also delayed) by purchase of Bislery water to fulfill our requirements of water for toilets and all.
    I with my family was faced a hard time by that travel, the suitable compensation to me shall be demanded through the Indian Railway for the following reasons:
    1. Delay in arrival time of Train to Delhi station.
    2. At least some type of water must be provided by the Railways for toilet purpose.
    3. No Tap of water were found in most of the coaches (sleeper).
    4. Misbehaved by Mr. S. N. Srivastava, Chief Commercial Controller over telephone said that "such type of written complain were done on regular basis but having no impacts".

    etc.

    The shouting compensation is as follows:

    1. Return the ticket fares of all the passengers who were traveling in sleeper coaches such as S1, S2, S3 etc.
    2. A lump sum money Rs. 200000.00 (two lakhs only) as compensation to me for purchased Bislery water in toiletry use, made frequent phone calls to the chief Comm Controller by me and TTEs also & Mental harassment to me and my family.

    Expecting your early response in this regard. However original train ticket, written complain is kept with me for producing in due course if required.

    Angry Indian railways - pathetic service

    It's the most PATHETIC experience. This was ridiculous. Since the train was on RIGHT TIME so the train was stopped at SHAHDARA Station and some local people + the Pantry person announced that the train WILL NOT MOVE for 2-3 HOURS. Some people told that the same was also announced by the Station Manager BUT since we were in AC coaches so unable to hear the announcement.

    After that we waited around 1 hour just to confirm and then with 5 HEAVY luggage’s I and one more Passenger who also waited like me because of Heavy luggage and No Coolies on the station and the moment the train stopped at Shahdara station the Electrician was AWARE of the situation and he STOPPED the AC of every coach. When we approached he told us that since like Rajdhani this train’s AC runs on battery and not on generator, and again he needs to Ensure that when this trains will return from Delhi the AC coaches need to be cool for the passengers who would start their journey from Delhi. HE said that DO WHATEVER YOU PEOPLE CAN. We have SEEN that 2 local trains stopped (it was on a different track and it was very tough to go to that track) but sitting there was not a solution as I have to reach my office the very same day at 8 PM so we crossed helping each other using tracks and I would never forget in my life how this was managed and then we reached Delhi station.

    I REQUEST TO LOOK INTO THIS MATTER SERIOUSLY BECAUSE MY PARENTS USE THIS TRAIN AS ITS CONVINIENT TO THEM AND THIS CAN HAPPEN AGAIN.

    Who’ll gonna pay for all these inconvenience.

    Default Loss of personal baggage between jabalpur and raipur

    Dear Sir iam a serving military officer
    my name is LIEUTENANT COMMANDER SUKRITY DAS posted at Mumbai.

    I was travelling by Amarkantak express (train no.2854) from Jabalpur to Raipur vide PNR no.8134558362 on 25 sep 09 by coach A1/Class 2AC. At around 6 a.m on 26 sep 09 i discovered that by RED COLOUR TROLLEY BAG (SKY BAG) with a small lock MISSING from seat no. 17/18 (SL/SU BERTH). All my belongings were lost. I must reiterate that public has tremendous faith on railway authorities especially on the ticket Controller and the coach attendents, but after this incident i feel there is a nexus between the railways personnel deputed on trains and the thugs. It is the responsibility of coach attendants to restrict unnecessary personnel from moving inside the AC coach, and they failed miserably in their duties. Dear sir as i lost all my personal belongings i was deeply agitated mentally and just because iam a armed forces personnel i drove myself to complain and lodge an FIR with CONDUCTOR A1 COACH and GRP Raipur much against their resistance.

    I lodged my complaint with the ticket controller Mr. NBS Narayana, Conductor, Durg (Mobile no. 09424108742) vide complaint no. 096716 dated 26 Sep 09 and FIR No. 0/65/09 dated 26 Sep 09 with GRP, RAIPUR. May i request the authorities to quickly react, rather act to take stern action against those responsible for such callous and slack attitude. I would also like to appeal to the railway authority to find my luggage and compensate me for the mental agony i underwent for the same. I would like to follow up my complaint on weekly basis, if no action is taken within a fortnight i would complaint to Railway minister and consumer forum against the authorities responsible for the same.

    Question Inconvenience in puja special train

    Dear Sir,
    I boarded in Delhi station on 23-09-09 in the train no. 0332 which was Sealdah Exp. It was a Puja SPECIAL train form Delhi to Sealdah. There was neither water in toileteries nor any pantry car was available in the train. Also the train was 12 hrs late because it was being stopped many a times just to clear the track for crossing another trains. No facility was available and the train was late just because it was a special train. I want to know why such trains are made available to customers if the required facilities can not be provided to them while the same rent is charged by the railways. I hope some appropriate action will be taken by the authorised people.

    Cool New train

    One new fast train is very much required in morning around 8 am from new delhi to direct pathankot not via amritsar with a stopage at chakki bank and from phathankot at evening.

    Default non refund of tatkal e ticket even after repeated complaints

    i kanika mehra was bound to travel from lucknow to delhi from train number 2225 on 16 january 2010,pnr number-2201748251. the train was supposed to depart at 23:15 hrs however it got delayed by more than 24 hrs due to bad weather conditions. hence i cancelled my ticket on 17th morning. however no refund was made as the call centre executive(cancellation refrence number-852827 dated 17/01/2010 and ref no.-854482 of 18/01/2010) claimed that the refund would be done during a course of three months. more than five months have passed and i am yet to receive any claim. pls ensure an early refund of my money as already a lot of time has passed since the inception of the cancellation.

    I was returning from shri mahavirji station to nijjamudin on 20/06/2010 in train no.2903 golden temple mail COACH NO. B-1 3A/C ticket no.02217611,02352062,95441343 seat no.B-1 55,56,51,45,47. 2.30 hrs before the arrival of the train on the station train attendent BIJENDER KUMAR KUSHWAHA forcefully starded asking to return the bedding and on refusal to return it a long time before the stopage he starded using unfair and rude language,also turned voilent and continuosly threatend us.

    Haan haan aab tumhare chutad dhone ke liye Indian railways sewadar rakhegi. Aap ke chutadon ko atyadhik savdhani se dhoya jayega aur hair dryer se baad mein sukhaya jayega fir uske baad tumhare peeche sarkari saand ko chor diya jayega aur fir tum jano aur sarkari saand jane.
    Fir saand ke bare mein complaint karne yahan jaroor ana.

    Unhappy Worst toilet condition in mandor express and shalimar express delhi-jodhpur-delhi

    Dear railway minister/officer,

    if you are confident that toilet conditions in sleeper coach are satisfactory, then pls make a surprise check up, then you can understand the problems passengers are facing.conditions of toilets are undifinable, passengers are ashamed of conditions specially for ladies.

    I travelled and felt very sorry for indian railway condition- mantinence is very important to mantain reputation of india.

    Default A.C. not working

    Hon'ble Sir/s, i travelled (with my family) from Chennai to Bangalore on Sunday the 29 May 2011 by 1A class by train No 12027/Shatabdi Exp in Seat Numbers E1/29, 30 & 31 - vide e-ticket PNR No 4539738896. The A.C. in the compartment was NOT working and despite pleas from the passengers, the A.C. mechanic on board could not set the unit right. On checking with other staff o board, the passengers were aghast to understand that, the unit has been giving problems for more than 4 / 5 days and that despite complaints by the passengers, no action has been taken by the Railways. This forced us, a majority of consenting passengers, to report this matter with a written note in the Complaints book availed from the TTE. By this report, i request a) immediate set-right of the subject 1 A compartment in Train 12027 of 29 May 2011 and cause refund of minimum 50% of railfare to all pasengers who travelled that day in this compartment.     Lightbulb TRD Refund & IRCTC account Deactivation

    Deactivation of ID : TDR rejection
    I have booked e-ticket (PNR Number: 4419703815), from Gwalior to H Nizamuddin(NZM), Journey date 26.07.2010and departure time is 01.20AM. This train arrival time at H Nizamuddin(NZM) is 06.00AM on 26.07.2010. but I did not travel on the ticket. So I filed TDR for"Passenger Not Traveled".
    This claim is rejected by railway by saying passenger traveled and and they deactivated my id (mmbatra1).
    I can challenge IRCTC that i have not traveled on said ticket. Because I have booked another ticket vide (Pnr Number: 8401194698 )from Ruthiyai to H Nizamuddin(NZM), Journey date 25.07.2010, departure time is 20.45 hrs. This train arrival time at H Nizamuddin(NZM) is 11.10AM on 26.07.2010. and the train No. 7305 depature time is about 01.20AM ,dated 26.07.10.
    So, How is it possible that we are actually travelled in both the trains at the same time.
    I attatched both tickets as proofs for your reference.
    Please check & enquired and do the justice.
    I want my ID to activate immediately and refund my claim amount.

    Default Theft & unauthorized passengers in 2 AC coach of 13006 Amritsar Mail

    On 29th October, 2011 we boarded 2 AC coach of 13006 Amritsar Mail with cnf tickets at Varanasi. On boarding the train we found that one of our berths was occupied by a man and his wife. They told us that the TTE of the train had given them the berth although they were having waitlisted tickets. However finally we got our berth and these passengers, I heard, went to 3 AC coach. Then a man and his wife were trying to use our side berth. They were not having any reservation. There were some men in uniform with him who told me that he had a pass but no berth. How strange, isn't it? We had to argue with them to get our seat. The man was saying "TTE ko complain kijiye" How helpless we were feeling. Fortunately one of the men in uniform advised him to leave the berth and we heaved a sigh of relief. My parents are aged and ill. This altercation caused them a lot of mental tension.Then in the A1 coach, while I was sleeping, I was roused by the voice of a man who was complaining about his luggage having been stolen. He was complaining that the TTE was allowing waitlisted and unauthorized passengers in the 2 AC coach. I felt so sorry for the man who lost his articles. From what I saw it was obvious that the TTE was allowing many waitlisted and unauthorized passengers inside both A1 & HA1 coach. Now the question is can't we feel secure even in 2 AC coaches these days? Can't we, having valid reservation, sleep peacefully in 2 AC coaches? Are we to stay awake all night for fear of having our articles stolen? Then what is the point of having reserved seats? If this is the condition of 2 AC coaches, I wonder what the condition of sleeper coaches might be! Is there no discipline these days inside the reserved coaches?

    Unhappy Lost personal Belongings in YPR- Cannaore E 16527 on 05-11-11

    I was travelling from Bangalore to Kannur yesterday in YPR- Cannanore E 16527. I had my personal belongings which I kept under my berth. The train starts from YPR at 8 pm and I boarded from Karmelaram at 9 pm. We got reservation in AC 2 tier.

    It is sad to know that people are doing robbery in AC Compartments as well. If Tickets are expensive there should some sort of security provided by Railway authority to get rid of these robbery and thefts.

    I have lost so much of valuable things in my travel bag which was lost by today morning when i reached my destination.It is also very sad to know that people are taking reservations just to do robbery from these trains.

    Is there anyway I can get my belongings back? Only God knows.

    I am totally with this friend who made the below comment:

    Default No cleaning in train excess stoppage

    Respected sir,
    i was travelling in 19601 aii njp express from jaipur to muzaffarpur in 3ac coach ( pnr 2424556904 ) on 5.11.2011. Coach and bathroom was not cleaned up to muzaffarpur and water was over flowing in the bathroom.mug was not provided in the bathroom. Train was stopped for 45 minutes on sonpur and 1 hour at hajipur railway station for crossing.
