sir,
i am using the railway two wheeler parking area (of thrissur railway station, Kerala) for parking my scooter daily. when i came to take my vehicle from the parking area, i found my scooter's side mirror has broken and has full of scratches seems some vehicle hit on it. i have tried to contact the attenders at the parking area (who collect the money and issue parking receipt). but they refused even to see my vehicle. they said, they don't know who damaged the vehicle and they don't have time to see it also. i have asked the contact details of the contractor who is responsible for the parking lot. they refused to give those information. they were behaving toward me like i made a big mistake of asking them.
then i sent complaint to the southern railway. they replied me saying that the contractor is fully reponsible and asked me to give complaint to him. they also told the contractor's name and contact details should be displayed at the parking place. but at thrissur railway station, no information about the contractor is displayed and the attenders are not ready to coperate. this i have informed the railway authority. but i have not received any reply and no action.
i would like to know what are my rights in this regards and would like to avoid such kind of bad practises from contractor's side not only to me but also to others.
i am a monthly paid costumer and my parking pass is valid upto 6/12/2010
