Its has become completely hectic to make a Tatkal ticket between 8 and 9 AM every day. The system is not at all responding most of the time and leaves a page "Service unavailable". A complete uncertainty in obtaining the ticket. Now it has become like if you are so lucky, you may get a tatkal ticket online on the opening day. Rather than giving a service like this, its better IRCTC or railway to pull off the service; thn people need not try for the highly unreliable service and could directly go to the counter and get the Tatkal tickets. Being a service given, they should make sure the system is up all the time.

There are thousands of online services all over the world, those got simultaneous web hit count much much higher than irctc. I still dont understand why these people are not taking any initiative to fix the problem and for sure its a pure technical problem with the server and there must be a solution for the same.

Its really a big big headache to book tatkal tickets online. I was trying to book ticket. For first 15 min, even after trying continuously, I was getting service unavailable. Then it showed 24 avaliable. Then when i clicked on Book, it took long time to display station list. At that time, available swats came down to 8. Whn i clicked on Book again, slowly booking page opened. After I filled complete form, when I scrolled down to click on Go, there was a column to fill the displayed letters. The image wasnt getting displayed at all. There was a link 'click here to display image again'. That also wasnt working. And it wasnt allowing me to go further until I enter characters. Helplessly, I couldnt book the ticket. It is so frustrating. Whom should I complain about this? Why is it always like this?
Plz IRCTC, do something about it.

i think they r dumb n deaf....i feel that along with server theere r serious bugs in programme too...
