I booked tickets from Goa to New Delhi in Nov 2009. Tickets were not confirmed and due to that I came back via Kingfisher airlines assuming that money will be refunded automatically since ticket was not confirmed. WHen I checked IRCTC website, I found out that ticket was not cancelled. I had to file TDR for this. Now this is Sep 2010 and still TDR status is pending and my money is not yet refunded back. IRCTC just says that they are following up with Indian railways for money refund. I have complained to IRCTC around 5-6 times. Below is proof of communication. I need to know what action I can take against IRCTC and Indian Railways?

Hi,

Now this is going to be 1 year since I have filed TDR. This is really unacceptable. Last I heard from your side was on 24th July. I have complained 4-5 times now. This should not take so much time.Also Iam not able to understand why ticket was not cancelled automatically since there was no confirmed seats. Since seats were not confirmed thats why I didn't travelled and thought refund will be done automatically but this didn't happened. so I filed TDR in Nov 2009. Now this is Sep 2010 and still refund of around 2873 Rs is not done. Please do it asap otherwise I need to go to consumer forum for this.
