Hi,

I am new to this site, forgive me if i am not following any protocols.
I have a complaint against the indian railway enquiry ( 139) .
I was to go on a train boarding from visakhapatnam,which was scheduled to departure
from visakhapatnam station at 11.05 am. My stupidness made me call the railway
enuiry(139), i called them at 9.50 am.The response was very nice,the voice was very
pleasent to hear and sounded very confident and assuring.I requested them to tell me
the departure time of the train howrah-yasvantpur(2863), from visakhapatnam.
They asked me to wait for few seconds, as they were checking there so called
reliable charts, and answered me that train was to arrive at visakhapatnam at 2.25pm
and it was running late by 3.45hrs.i called them again at
11.30,12,12.30,1.00,1.30,2.00 there answer for my queiry was the same.so i reached
the station at 2.00Pm just to listen that the train 2863(hwh-yasvantpur) has already
departed at 13.40pm.

My ticket was a tatkal ticket , which was non transferable to any differant train.I
cannot cancel the ticket because it was tatkal.And then the worst part is i had to
take a general ticket again and travel in general bogie till bangalore. I want
justice, i want my tickets money back.Please let me know the procedure to claim for
the money.
