What the hell allowing the cancellation of tatkal within 24 hrs. Of train departure mean...when the refund is big zero!!!!!!!!!!!! Railways must stop expecting the consumer to do the charity for railways.......stop begging from innocent passengers and for god's sake don't allow cancellation if refund is zero.....i hope railways/irctc wakes up....

I booked a tatkal ticket along with three other friends. in the four two got confirmed and remaining are in W/L1 and W/L2. i want to know ,as per the tatkal cancellation rules,the money for noncofirmed passengers will automatically credit into my account or i need to follow any procedure

I booked a tatkal ticket online.
I proceeded with the cancel button which did not even
warn me that the refund is zero even 24 hours
not passed. why should I cancel the ticket if the refund
is zero?

I booked the tatkal ticket from Nizzamuddin(New delhi) to Bangalore city in Rajdhani Express (12430) . I got waiting 26 which did not confirmed after the Chart got prepared. Train dep time was 9:00 PM and reservation window was closed. I went in morning for cancelation of ticket but they said there will be zero refund for this ticket. Please help me how approach for refund . if my tickets did not got confirmed then why i shuld not get my money back.

on the date of 10th nov 2012 i went to take tatkal ticket for same day...... and i am very much confident that i fill the form in correct manner as well as the date i mentioned on that was 10th nov. 2012 but your ticket maker did not understand it and she made the for 11th nov. 2012 so i am suffering because of your ticket maker's mistake and i want my ticket to be cancelled as i dont want to go today... as i missed my meetting of today.....
