The whole PF issue for which I have been waiting for last 2 years is narrated below:

1. I joined my current company (located in Noida and RPFC located in Delhi) on 5th Nov. 2007 and on the same day I filled up the form to transfer PF from my previous company (located in Gurgaon and RPFC located in Karnataka).

2. In November 2008, I received a letter from RPFC Bangalore, mentioning that the PF amount has been transferred to PF account no. DL/28570/0001 (last 4 digits are unreal), cheque no ****** dated 26/08/08 however my new PF account number was DL/28570/0002 (last 4 digits are unreal) means the amount was transferred to wrong PF account.

3. Next day I sent a scanned copy of letter received from RPFC Bangalore to my current and previous organization both.

4. In August 2009, I sent an application to RPFC Bangalore enclosing Form K and photocopy of letter received from them.

I would have sent innumerable mails to know the status of PF to current and previous organizations but always get tailored response that it is in process and it would take time. I have been waiting for my hard earned money for more than 2 years, Does it really take so much time to get your own money back?

Is there any hope to get the money back?

File a RTI to know the status of your PF, this will also screw them.

Against whom should I file the RTI -

The RPFC, Bangalore
OR
The PF office, New Delhi

And also, please tell me the procedure to file the RTI?
