Cancel My HDFC ERGO Policy Dear Sir/Madam,
My Self, Venkateswara Rao Kollimarla.
I have taken the CREDIT CARD with the number: 5289456002238314.
As I have lost this in a journey I have blocked it and then another card has been issued to me with the number : 5289456002990211.
In fact I do not wanted to use the credit card, I have blocked this card(5289456002990211) as well.
Now in my Net Banking it is showing the New credit card as registered card with the number: 5289456003173114.
I didn't even receive this CREDIT CARD (5289456003173114), But I received one letter saying that "the HDFC ERGO [COLOR=#009900 !important]Health Insurance[/COLOR] Policy with the Number :HN28122010000672 Policy Start Date: 31 DEC 2011 Policy Expiry Date: 30 DEC 2012." renewed.
Without having the CARD in hand how could I have the policy and without asking for the consumer approval HOW COULD you people renewal this policy ?
I even called the HDFC Bank [COLOR=#009900 !important]credit [COLOR=#009900 !important]card services[/COLOR] [/COLOR]numbers to Cancel my Credit card. No one is [COLOR=#009900 !important]listening.[/COLOR]
I don’t understand why should I pay for the closure of the policy which I didn’t want to take and was given to me I would like to say by cheating me. Sir please try to help me for getting my money back.
So,Now,I recommend you people to STOP this policy and the CREDIT CARD(5289456003173114).I don't wanna use this anymore.
So, please take the necessary step to resolve the above issue.

HDFC Ergo Policy Cancellation Hi,
This is Deebika from Bangalore.
I have recently got the HDFC Ergo policy with my Gold Credit card. After the next day i received my card, i got the call for this policy. ,I was told whatever sum I pay as premium, it will be reimbursed, I can understand that it only provides exemption not a rebate. I have called them to cancel the policy, but they said, it is processed and cannot cancel by that time. I would like to cancel the policy because my company is already providing insurance for me. so, Please cancel the same and debit the amount back to my credit card.
Total amount debited : 12519.00
After checking my mail, i came to know that they have put two policies which i am not aware of. Please cancel the both at earliest.

Complaint about policy Hi,
This is Yogesh from pune.
I have recently got the HDFC Ergo policy with my Gold Credit card. before this i received my card, i got the call for this policy. ,I was told whatever sum I pay as premium, it will be reimbursed, but I diidn want this policy so I have called them to cancel the policy, but they said, it is processed and cannot cancel by that time. after some time policy got cancelled but they have blocked my 6000 RS of my credit card.
Please cancel the policy, and give my credit limit back...and also amount debited from my account.

HDFC Ergo policy- reimbursement issue Hi,

Expiry date- 13/07/2012
I got the call for this policy when I got my Silver international HDFC Credit card issued, I was told whatever sum I pay as premium, it will be reimbursed. Now I was getting SMS saying that my policy WILL be renewed soon. As I didn't want this policy I emailed them for NON -Renewal to which I got email confirmation complying to my request. However there was no mention of the reimbursement. I called the toll free number to become aware that there is no cash back policy. I was shocked.
This is totally unfair, as the company's representative while introducing this policy telephonically call and convey that money will be reimbursed back to my account but later this is denied.
I request to credit the reimbursement amount to my credit card when my policy expires.

Dear Sir/Ma'am,
Myself, Prabhjeet Kashyap,
I have recently got the HDFC ergo health policy, I won’t say i got it, I'll say "i was forced to get this policy". I received a call from one of their rep, stating that since you’re holding the HDFC credit card, we our offering you a health insurance policy. I informed rep that I already have health insurance from my company, will this insurance applicable for my parents, the answer was "yes". Hence i agreed to this policy, keeping this point in my mind that my parents will be entitled under this policy, but later i was informed that this policy is applicable for me, so this was the first incident were they provided the wrong information. Later i requested for the cancellation, they said you'll receive call within 72 hours, no one ever called. So i took the initiative and I called them back, and I had a word with one of their manager, he retained by saying, if you cancel this policy it'll effect your creditability and you have to pay 20% of the amount, I was bit concerned about this and for sure i didn't wanted to take any risk with my creditability, so i did informed him that all i need is to get this policy for parents, he replied that by the evening I'll receive a mail with the process to get your parents enrolled for this policy, so far i haven't received any mail form them, it's almost a moth now. So I didn't bother them again thinking that by the end it is beneficial for me. I wouldn't have requested for the cancellation, if they would have provided complete information. The point forced me to raise this complaint was about their hidden charges. They informed that this policy will cost me 9396.00 and it'll deduced on EMI, I was going through my Credit Card statement and this what i found, that i have to pay additional 1143 on top of 9396.00, this is too much they are trying to make money from us. They should have informed me that since they are going to convert this amount on EMI, hence there will interest added on the EMI amount, and if this problem is not going to be sort out and if i been a charged a single pie from HDFC ERGO, whomsoever i have to contact, I'll contact. It wouldn't have reached at this point if you people would have been crystal clear with your customer's.

I have applying a Credit Card from HDFC Bank Ltd & same will be done by sending me a Credit care bearing card No. 4345 7811 0296 9326, and Credit card deptt. had done a HDFC Ergo policy No. 51277731 on dated 10 Aug 2012 and the policy premium is Rs. 9396/- & Proc fee for policy is Rs.150/- Total Rs. 9546/- and due date is 30th Aug. 2012 which I seen on receiving my Credit Card Statement from e-mail. I had already told the customer care Representative many times that I am not interested in the policy and that is why on 11th Aug. 2012, I had already sending a mail to cancellation of HDFC Ergo Policy & same will be replay on sending a letter On 13 th Aug. 2012 through HDFC Bank, Dibrugarh Branch. HDFC ergo cancellation Hi,
myself srividya.
I had requested for cancellation of my HDFC ergo policy with reference number : HN08082012000657
I started this policy on Aug 1st and paid only 1 month amount of august.
i had paid 1250 Rs on Aug 2012. and after few days, i requested for cancellation.
i got a confirmation call and also message saying that my amount will be refunded within 10 working days to my HDFC credit card. (Last 4 digit - 0774 )
its more than 10 days and i still have not received my amount . now, when i called ERGO customer care, they said amount cannot be refunded, and in fact i have to pay extra amount for cancellation.else bills will be sent to my house.
Kindly do the needful

cancellation of policy from a deferred date than requested my policy has been reported anulled by 16/04/2012 as recently convayed over phone by your agent. but proportionate reversion from 8/12 has been communicated by a letter without date having reference no.HN09032012000716 against policy no. 51107198 reverting Rs.5,183/-. While it was held not cumpulsory for activation of my credit card I disagreed to purchage in the month of April 2012.as such reversion is not genuine and is acheating being one sided communication. please rectify it and allow me full reversion instead proportionat so that I may have faith om HDFC and the ERGO be able to comtinue relations with your system further, R,K,Verma, Holder of credit card No.5241 1100 0043 7363.
