    Default New Airtel Broadband Service for a business customer - still no action

    Hello,

    I want to log an official complain about Airtel and how they are fooling customers by taking money upfront and not providing the connection.

    We applied for an airtel connection for our office and its 20 days later that things are still not working.

    Here are the details of the interaction
    a) 6th September - applied for a connection with airtel the agent took the papers but nothing happened for 4 days. Later we found out that he had not submitted all the papers. We asked for our application papers to see why anything was missing, this is when we found that they had put somebody elses picture on our application.
    b) Sep 12 - We applied at the airtel office on nandidurga road, bangalore ourselves. After a lot of calling back and forth for about 4 days we finally got our connection on Friday, Sep 16
    c) It worked for sometime and then on Oct 5 it just stopped working out of the blue. Talking to Customer Care, they told us that for some reason our account was cancelled. (they didn't know why it was cancelled, when it will be reactivated, by whom). The care reps were talking as if they are doing us a favor by taking our call, and when we called them back on Oct 7 they told us that the problem has been resolved. Whereas the situation was exactly the same at our end. Having lost 3 days of work time our office broadband still does not work and the Airtel Jerks are acting as if they don't give a shit.

    Spoke to a rep who claimed he was the floor manager called Shivshankar D at the escalation team and he gave us a resolution timeline of Oct 11, 11.59 PM - four days from now and the resolution according to him was going to be a follow up call from some team who would probably be able to explain why our connection was disconnected without our permission and any notice to us. At the same time he asked us to "proportional" in our interaction otherwise our call would be disconnected- clearly to airtel it does not matter cause they have already got the money from you. Customer service reps i.e. ShivShankar at Airtel are most incompetent who believe that the consumer should be thankful that they are evening listening to them.

    Futher we spoke to Divya - floor manager 198 escalation team who then claimed that the connection was active. So now we are stuck no clue of what our landline number is and when our internet will be active

    The loss airtel has caused to our busines:
    - Airtel fees
    - ~10 days of no internet connectivity leading to loss of time & business
    - Employees had to be sent home since we couldn't work without broadband

    Airtel already has our money 1299 for the first month's fee. We were hoping that they would at least have the courtesy to expedite the resolution given that we are a startup and every minute without our broadband is setting us back. We are very frustrated and disappointed, sitting helpless at the mercy of the customer reps, who apparently have been given a guideline to finish the call as soon as possible and not bother about resolution.

    We will be pursuing this matter across multiple platforms, so that other businesses don't suffer this. We are stuck without a cluse as to what the next steps are.

    Post Net Connection not working for last four days

    Hi,
    MY NET CONNECTION FOR NUMBER 0120-4271573 HAS NOT BEEN WORKING FOR LAST FOUR DAYS.
    FOR THIS I CALLED CUSTOMER CARE CENTER SEVERAL TIMES BUT THE ISSUE IS NOT RESOLVED YET.
    THE DETAILS OF THE SERVICE REQUESTS ARE AS FOLLOWS:

    SLA - 6.00 PM
    AT 5.55 PM I GOT A CALL FROM BACK END TEAM THAT THE ISSUE WILL BE RESOLVED SOONER AND THE COMPLAINT WAS CLOSED.
    BUT IT DID NOT HAPPEN SO.

    THE RESULT : DISAPPOINTMENT
    ON 15 TH I AGAIN RAISED A COMPLAINT IN THE DAY TIME BUT IT WAS ALSO OF NO USE...
    WOW WHAT A CUSTOMER SERVICE...
    ON 16TH I AGAIN MADE A CALL AT 2.20 PM TO TALK A WITH A SENIOR LEVEL REPRESENTATIVE BUT MY CALL WAS PUT ON HOLD TWICE WHICH WAS CUT AUTOMATICALLY AFTER SOME MINUTES.
    GREAT.
    THIS IS HOW YOU DEAL WITH YOUR CUSTOMERS.

    NO RESULT.
    AND WHEN I ASKED THIS REP TO CONNECT ME WITH SOME SENIOR I WAS AGAIN PUT ON HOLD.
    THE DURATION OF THIS CALL WAS 15 MINUTES.
    AND HENCE THE LIMIT OF THE PATIENCE IS OVER.
    SO NOW I NEED MY NET CONNECTION IN WORKING MODE BY THIS EVENING.
    AND AS A COMPENSATION I NEED A WAIVE OFF OF 15 DAYS MONTHLY RENTAL ON PRO RATE BASE IN MY NEXT BILL.
